When you're running the game (StarCraft II.exe) should automatically start updating. If not, try to disable your firewall.

I think you don't need all that maps. You can do anything you want with this launcher http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starcraft-ii-launcher/ be observer of computers play, manipulate number of computers on map etc. You can read more about it on posts or just try it.  ;D I'm testing AIs a lot and this one is making my work much easier. :)

P.S.
Those errors with TriggerLibs are gone with the latest version 2.0.2.

A really impressive AI. One thing I hope can be changed... When he's taking a new exp, all his production operations is stopped until both Assimilators are done. It is a way to not stopping him in this situations?

If you like to test AIs and don't want to overwrite files every time, try this launcher http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starcraft-ii-launcher/
It's working with TriggerLibs format which can be extracted from any Base.SC2Data file with MPQ Editor http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html.
You can set all slots with Computers and you'll join in spectate mode; you can put you on other slot than first for other color than red, for example, slot 2 for blue; you can manipulate the number of players on map; you can use originals maps, don't need hacked ones (with AIs included) because launcher will set up your settings directly; you can load sYk0's maps with logging screen... In shortest way: it's perfect. I love it and I consider from far the best launcher because of its utilities.  ;D I am testing a lot of AIs and combining best found AI script for each race in one TriggerLibs and without it my work won't be so easy.  :) For now, the best zerg I found is on default starcrack 5.5 and the best protoss in StarIAI (Interactive AI) v0.3. I didn't found yet a good terran.

Now, it is far away the best launcher I ever tested.  ;D

LAN should be there for those with no internet connection or with a low speed one which can make your life a hell with messages like "waiting for player" when you'll try to play through battlenet even with your brother in the same house. LAN is speed and a real connection with your friends. Instead, battlenet tend to keep you alone, only with a virtual socializing.
Am I wrong?...

Kaspersky Internet Security 7  and ESET Smart Security are my friends, too. Best AVs with interactive firewall. I don't like silent firewalls at all (like KIS 8+). Now I'm using ESET because windows is running a little better than is running with KIS7 and I love advanced options for firewall right into pop-up window.
By the way, ESET is not recognize LazyLauncher like a threat.  :)

No, I think you can't load in Base.SC2Data format with this launcher, I tried and it'll not load it, only with TriggerLibs extracted from any Base.SC2Data with MPQ Editor: http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html

A little surprise... I tried to make working watching your own replays and now I have the same Zerg.Galaxy error from XP.  :D

Edit: I think its about maps, like you said. Some maps are working and some not. I changed them with sYK0's, those with logging screen and after that I've got error.
Anyway, you can play any map if you'll set on No mod. You can manually apply StarCrack 5.5 in Game folder (StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod) and it will use it like default. The good thing is you can use all others launcher's settings. And an interesting thing is that with Enhanced AI (cheating) the launcher works even with login screen maps.  :-\

P.S.
It is about maps. I put them back and its working again with all AI scripts.

Sorry, I didn's read your post... you told about manipulating number of AI too :P
I have Windows 7 in dual boot and I tested first 2 maps from your link: (2) Blistering Sands Novice and (4) Shakuras Plateau (both Feb 19), I used StarCrack 5.5 with TriggerLibs extracted, I set only 2 Computers on Shakuras Plateau and is working. If you have 7 (not Vista), maby you'll need a fresh install...
