I don't have a key to give out lol just seeing if there are any darkblizz members out there looking for a 2v2 partner who are actually IN beta.

Anyone who get in beta feel like having a 2v2 partner?

I don't know anyone and I feel bored by myself! lol

Great now I have something else to check like a madman besides my email.

I think the best way to tell is if there are new Ebay listings for real emails. For about a week or two all of the other waves have sold out and there has only been blizzcon cards left. I do see a couple of new email listings now though.

how exactly does the point system work for ladder? Just beat the computer and you get points?

General Discussion / Dealing With Carriers

As I have been playing the AI over and over I have come across one thing that still gives me a lot of trouble. I know half of it is my fault for not pestering them enough, but how do you deal with carriers as a protoss player when you have a more balanced mix of units made. It seems like stalkers and phoenixes are useless. Psionic storm got super nerfed and I don't think immortals attack air. Should I try archons, or perhaps just make more carriers than them? Protoss used to have scouts which were some of the strongest Anti air units in the game and now they feel like a phoenix is a replacement? bleh

Terran vikings aren't that great but at least I've got thors, battlecruisers /w y cannon, and seeker missiles. I think seeker missiles have the potential to be the new Psionic storm. I still have a little trouble with a mass of carriers as terran, but I don't feel like their AA is as worthless as protoss.

To be honest I haven't really had this issue with zerg because the comp is so easy to overwhelm early on with zerg and I haven't gotten the chance to let them build up to carriers lol. I don't know how corruptors weigh in on the AA fight. I know you can always have a crap ton of hydras to take care of business though! They should bring back scourge imo though.

I have played many games and I would have to say the weakest aspect of the AI is their keeping up with my production. They have a good first rush but after that I feel like I get to choose if I want the game to end or not. I don't exactly know how to fix that though lol. Protoss has by far the strongest front in longer games with their carrier/archon spamming. Terran needs to stop spamming vikings. Battlecruiser spam would probably be more challenging and I think zerg takes too long to tech up to more advanced units like mutas and I've never seen a brood lord/corruptor combo pop up on me. I am impressed that you have the infestors mind controlling my Battlecruisers though! I know the AI has a very attack and retreat attitude but I feel like they lose a lot of resources and troops because of how they attack. The only race this works for is protoss because that is actually the PERFECT way to play carriers. Their interceptors smoke me while they run away.

The AI does a good job if you give them a lot of time to build up (terran is probably the weakest in the long games though, they need to seriously buff vikings lol), but they are pretty easy in the beginning, probably mostly because they waste themselves on their suicidal run and retreat tactics.

The AI is horribly easy to rush once you fend off their first wave. If you have your build order down correctly and keep spamming workers and units you should be able to beat them in the beginning. I get bored of that though and let them build up. I have to say the toughest one to face is protoss because of their mass carrier production, and I feel like there aren't a lot of good anti air options to face constant carrier spamming.

I have read through and I'm not sure if I missed it. Have yall found out a way to play the easy AI that blizzard implemented. I would be more interested in playing that than any premade units yall throw at us lol. If so which option on the difficulty drop down is it?
