I used the maps that I downloaded with the original post and the comp AI's still were bogus, I definitely have 6.1 installed

What do you mean "bogus".

The Comps are using the old AI where they build very few units and never attack. Like the original AI hack.

At least I know the launcher is working

This is a bucketful of fail for me because as per the directions:

<<Copy all of your maps from the
c:\users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\cache
to:
C:\Users\<yourname>\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps>>

Well, my maps are not in that file, and the Starcraft II beta client is not in the file stated above. Does this mean I have to re-install the game and create that file path file so that your program will work with it?

There are no teams, when I select teams, it just starts as a normal FFA

I was playing an FFA battle and after absorbing the initial rush, I counter attacked all three enemy expansions, but JUST the expansions. I noticed after that, despite that all 3 enemies built expansions elsewhere, they continued to make only a few defensive units and that was it. I was free to walk over every expansion and main base with very little effort aside from Protoss and Zerg static defenses. The Terrans had 0 static defenses.

Any other battle, if I didn't hit the first expansion right away, all three races made a very effective and concerted offensive effort either on me or the other comps.

I'm somewhat of a casual gamer, and it's taking some time, but I'm figuring out how to handle most situations. Most importantly, I'm having a LOT of fun and already missed a not so important meeting. lol

Is there a thread that discusses build orders and how many workers per mineral cluster? I've looked a bit and haven't found any. For any other casual gamers, who are having trouble you might also want to look at the build orders for some of the more experienced players.

Also use ALL of the little tweaks as they make a big difference (queen spawn boost, protoss chrono-boost) I overlooked them first and they helped a lot when I used them.

Thanks for all of the selfless and I'm assuming unpaid work, all you techie geeks :)

Does this AI do away with the ridiculous "enemy units run back and forth for the duration of the entire game strategy"?

I know the idea is to make the AI challenging, but preferably not busy work.

Yes it's challenging to try to deal with the enemy's army constantly running back and forth to your base to try to draw your units out. No, a not-retarded player would never do this as you'd never be able to do anything with your base. You would have to spend the entire game bouncing back and forth trying to draw out your opponent because you couldn't think of a better strategy. I like games that are fun, I already work 40 hours a week. That's just more busy work. :-[
