Title: Question about AI: HELP!
Post by: Buzzard on March 03, 2010, 07:47:25 PM
So if i get it right, the hacked maps have a player spawn added to it, but the ai takes over and replaces the "player" with a ai?.

Now the ai that is in this map, are these the default ones?, because i dont have ANY mod installed and the ai is still working but its sucky.

I don't get what you need help with. If you're asking for a better AI, you need to modify some files.

You need to download one of the AI files (currently 5.5 is the latest) and replace the original base.SC2Data with the one in the AI file. Make sure you backup the original base.SC2Data in order to watch legit replays from actual beta players though.

You can find the folder to replace the base.SC2Data file in your sc2 beta directory:
Starcraft 2 Beta > Mods > Liberty.SC2Mod
(note: it's not the Libertymulti.SC2Mod folder or Core.SC2Mod folder)

Make sure you keep everything else in the Liberty.SC2Mod folder though, or it won't work. Depending on your version of the client, there should also be something of the similar:
base.SC2Assets
enGB.SC2Assets
enGB.SC2Data

I'm assuming you already are using the lazylauncher 2.0.
