Quick question, do you think Blizz would have made it that easy?

One can dream can he not?  ;)

Not enough Pylons / Re: to other players with keys

Due to people selling keys, once the game is on your account, all you need to is login. If you have a sc2 beta attached to your account, bnet will recognize it, and the account registered to it (sample.account) and you as an authorized user. It was only previously that you required to submit your key.

SC2 is known to currently have compatibility issues with single core processors.

On a side note though... I have a quad core processor, and had it clocked from its original (1.8 or 2.1 or something), to a 2.4 ghz clock. This caused all my games to crash between 10-60 seconds in, and the problem ceased when I reverted to factory settings.

To clarify, I'm asking which files need to be in my Mods folder, because I think I messed with it at some point and that's why it isn't loading correctly for me.

When in doubt, Re-install.

The issue could be from multiple reasons. Since you have been messing around with your files, you could not be making proper backups and/or not organizing it all efficiently.

Worst to worst scenario - re-download the sc2 beta client, re-install, re-update, re-crack, and play.

The answer to your initial question :

Core.sc2mod \ Backup.mpq(164,767kb), Base.mpq(63,272kb), Base.sc2assets(25,577kb), Base.sc2data(24,447kb), enus.sc2data(43kb), index.sc2locale(1kb)

Liberty.sc2mod \  Base.sc2assets(1,758,177kb), Base.sc2data(709kb), enus.sc2data(64,943kb), enus.sc2assets(118kb)

Libertymulti.sc2mod \ Base.sc2data(7kb), enus.sc2data(1kb)

These are all unmodified files, and are up to date with the 8th patch for the beta client (or is it 9th? what'd they nerf this time?!).

While I already have a key, and this is not my video...

StarCraft: Pylon Mix

Anyone who can make a video like this doesn't just deserve a key, they deserve an ultra blizzard account that has access to all blizzard developed software, whether its in alpha or been scrapped (Ghost).

You are crazy. Blizzard them selves should really make cash of this. Release 3/4 of the beta keys they released and sell the rest on ebay. It would make them a fortune (well not quite compared to wow, but still)

I'd personally rather give the money to some lucky SOB than blizzard after hearing what they are doing with the game... 1st they decide to monetize parts of bnet 2.0 (charge money), then they decide to make you pay for sc2 3 times (probably not even going to reduce price on the expansion packs), and then decide that they will cut out lan and make it manditory for you to log on the newly monetized bnet 2.0 just to play single player.

For shame blizzard, If we can get an emu server up in the 1st 2 weeks sc2 is released I'm so not going to buy the game.

General Discussion / Well, I did the dirty...

And acquired sc2... Online is TOTALLY different, and oh so wonderful! Yet I have to wonder, is a drop hack even possible at this stage of the game? I would be 9-1 for my 1st 10 games if I hadn't been dropped moments before victory on 2 games!

Anyways, if any devs need any packets or whatever let me know and I'll see what I can do.

why is there no bnet emulator?! i work my ass off clicking refresh every 10 seconds! these so called devs who put their own time in to help the community get enjoyment which they otherwise wouldn't have, deserve my complaints because i want it nao (1337z0|2) and i dont care about the complexity or difficulty of the task they are working on! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

That was sarcasm for anyone that didnt catch it... Though I would like to know when 6.0 will be released.

P.S. To the devs : I'm grateful for the work that has been done, turning a hope into a reality, and continuing to do so! (furthermore, I don't expect a working bnet emu anytime soon, and I don't think anyone else should either. Yet I wish you good luck on your progress!) Cheers!

The battle cruiser is badass now, though I want to mess around with the plasma torps that aren't in the beta =(... Also the reaper/medivac combo is better than a reaver drop from sc1 for ruining ones economy.

For toss, sentry is a micro'ers dream...

and zerg, well, they seem very similar from sc1 aside from 2-3 new units... but I like how the evolved mutalisk shoots broodlings.

Starcraft II Beta / Re: Emulate Battle.net

Hey guys, I'm not exactly knowledgable when it comes down to packet editing... But it seems to me that you are relating authorization packets from WOW, to the ones from SC2. Maybe you should listen to the latest podcast from blizzard, as they mentioned something about working on a future update for wow that will have something to do with sc2. Maybe they will provide you with the missing pieces in time?

Sorry if this is irrelevant and does not help.
