First of all, many thanks to the makers for this awesome feature :)
I have downloaded and installed the TW version of SC2, incl the english sounds mod.
Patched to 1.3.2 and also applied the Starfriend 'patch'.
Server is running well and I can log in to the server.
But..... When I try to start a game under multiplayer I cant select any maps.
Should this be installed seperatly or am I missing a feature somewhere?
I think I'm missing the cache.
But ehm... my chinese is a bit rusty atm and on the site http://u.115.com/file/dn4y9h9g (http://u.115.com/file/dn4y9h9g) I have no idea what to click on....
Can anyone upload the cache to an english site?
It was indeed the cache, so got that working.
But now I have a new problem.
The server itself is running fine, can connect as host and my 2nd pc is connecting as well.
But... Both clients can select only 1 character, named Slayer.
I have tested this at work as well on 2 pc's and have exactly the same issue.
How can I select another character name?
Sorry, was a bit quick....
Solution: use the exact same login as the 'server' :)
Don't forget the tutorial said to wait for 5-10 seconds after you logged in. If you don't the maps won't show!

Hi, Im having the same problem. But I cant solve it.
I ve tried to wait for a few.minutes and the maps.dont appear....
Can somebody confirm that the.cache sould be at: c:program files/blizard entertwinment/battle.net/cache/.... for win7?
In this case the strange is that i ve created.the folder, before it didnt exist
Thanks.in advance...a lanadict
The correct path for the cache files in Windows 7:
QuoteC:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache
Note: This is a hidden folder under Windows 7 (by default).
thanks
now it works
no more problems
and thanks for the clear directions ;D

How have you fixed your problems? Making the folder hidden?
Download the map Cache here:
http://ul.to/tqttdi7j (http://ul.to/tqttdi7j)
Place it in here: (For windows 7)
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache
For windows XP ( I think. Correct me if im wrong)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net
Thats as close as I can get. I have so many different Cache folders in their from beta and what not. I don't know what is which.
Run server. Launch SCII. Login. Create map. Profit.
Also. Can't wait for launcher. =)

Very thanks but I can see the new mirror...
I've tried to reinstal and repeat all step by step but I have the same problem. But I have seen some strange:
when I install the sc2tw I dont have the "X:Datos de programa/Blizzard Entertainment/" (I've the spanish version of win7) folder created by the instaler...(neither hidden).
I also tried to give all permissions to the folder but nothing...
PD: I also tried for wait on all the screens of the game, at last when I have to wait for load the race but nothing happens(about one hour)...
Somebody has any idea? I've a lan tomorrow :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Doesn't matter if you have the Spanish version of Windows.
The folder path "C:\ProgramData\"
should be the same on all languages of windows (I could be wrong).
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache
Copy the above text, open my computer and paste the text in the address bar at the top...
Or better use the following:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%
See if you can see a "Blizzard Entertainment" folder in that directory?
- Is your windows installation on the C:\ drive?
- Are you dual booting?
Read this link, to show all your hidden folders...
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial151.html (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial151.html)
You must select "Show hidden files..." and untick "Hide protected operating system files..." (obviously these settings will be in Spanish), :)
