I do not work well with torrents.
Can someone host it on a free hosting website once they have it? :3

Once I get home (in a few hours), and dl the torrent, if there is still no file-hosted site up with it, I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately I'm at work right now, so not much I can do from here. I can't dl a torrent from here

Unfortunately I'm still at work, so I can't dl a torrent here... If someone gets it on their computer, think you could host it on a file-hosting site? I'd like to dl it here at work, so I can email it to myself, that way I won't have to worry about trying to dl it at home later on today.

Updates: Soon Means Very Soon....

"<Blackcode-> updates myst?
<MysT_DooM> if sites not back up by around 2pm eastern, they'll just torrent it
<MysT_DooM> i mean western time"

I don't understand what they are thinking. They really believe their site is going to come up under all this pressure? They are good hackers (clearly), but they know jack sh*t about websites... There is NO WAY that site is coming back up. Why they don't lighten the load by hosting the crack on various file-hosting sites, I have no idea... It's boggling my mind

In Blizzcast 13, they said they were going to be disabling the coop vs. AI for the beta so that they could focus more on PvP.  I hope they leave the code there, so that we can get a crack.

Well in a sense it's there, because you can play against AI in the multiplayer section. Just create a custom game, then select AI as your enemy and start the game. So the AI is there, they just need to find a way to implement it in their hack.

I think its important that they found that exploit so Blizzard will fix it...
the Battle.net experience is important to a lot of people and cheating would ruin it completly!

Except that I guarentee this guy won't report it to Blizzard. He is using it for his own gain, so that he can hack his games and play unfairly.

why would u do a maphack? why would you want to ruin a fair gaming competition with such thing? honestly why?

I can understand using a crack to play beta cause it is not out for everyone, but this... that is just sad man....

I couldn't agree more.

Sooner or later they will crack to a fully playable game... but remember to support blizzard too by Buying this game if u like it....

Oh absolutely! I NEVER download a cracked game and then not buy it, if I like it of course. Many games just don't have demos or what-not, so I download a cracked version to try it out. If I like it, I buy it. If I don't, I delete the cracked version. I always want to support the gaming industry.

Keep in mind guys, that Blizzard is only having around a 3month beta testing period, and are planning to release the game sometime within the first half of this year (that's their exact words, not mine). So we won't have that long to wait anyways.

Are you sure about that? I can still remember when it was slated for a 07/08 release. The earliest release date I've heard is June and I doubt it will be that early. Blizzard like to finish a game then mess around with it for 2-3 years before they think its suitable for release.

Considering it's already in beta, the game is already this extremely polished (which is evident in all the videos, the forums, etc.) it's just a matter of balancing the game. In the latest Blizzcast, they've even said Beta is mostly just for balancing. Everything else is done. There is no way it wouldn't be released sometime this summer.

If the apache server crashed, most servers have it setup to automatically reboot though?

Also, this is the greatest news I've heard all day :p

Not if it's constantly being spammed with the F5 key... Which I guarentee it is.

I may be way off on this one, but it may be something Blizzard has done on purpose to "stop" all this massive assault on the beta that may have long term consequences going into full release. It's as if they wanted this "test game" to be found so that it all calms down for a while...I think anyway some connection with the crack popping up right after the update (and claiming thanks for v14093) has gotta go beyond the obvious.

No disrespect for the developers, of course, we wouldn't be here talking about this without their work. Fantastic effort either way ! we love you guys :) .

It's certainly possible. Create a "backdoor" to get the game at least up and running, so people without keys can tinker with the game, while giving their forums a breather for once. It's a good way to calm the masses during beta. It does seem rather ironic that the day the patch comes out there is now a hack for the game because of it.
