If it was that easy we would have it by now. Clearly, it's not. People who don't know how LAN works should stop offering this suggestions...

But saying that I have just thought of an idea that might work,. I'm no l.a.n. expert however we did this with another compeltely unrelated game and it totally worked! Just add -connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the launcher .exe and like totally replace the x's with the ip of the guy runnin a launcher and it will totally work. Now this may be completely wrong, but its just a thought that i came up with that obviusly noone else has thought of.

Why would they bother spending the money they have on bandwidth for it to be fake? What's the point? Pretty elaborate hoax for no gain don't you think?
How many of those people that are calling it fake will download it when it is released?

Yes this is indeed Chinese. Had a bit of trouble understanding it (Japanese speaker) since 北九州市 is a place in Japan (kitakyushu shi) but found Jiuzhou on google (九州). Weirdly enough this is the island of kyushu in Japanese!Without StubbornRock's post I would have been very confused since it would have otherwise looked it was from Japan but written in Chinese.

I can confirm it doesn't cheat on the non-cheating version. No extra resources and computer cannot see whole map.

Very nice release! I think the best improvement for protoss is chrono! They are now ridiculous!
Huge improvement over 6.0, I like the way it reacts to air units! Excited to see how you can implement this into more counters.

Few improvements:

- Units tend to try and kill the scout probes all the way to the enemy base and get killed. This seems to affect zerg more than any other race, im not sure if this is hardcoded or if there is a way to force them back to base if chasing a probe if its getting away.

- Maybe vary the wave numbers a little. At the moment its set to 25 I believe, but this should be more random to keep the enemy guessing. A big part of difficulty in sc2 is pressure, computer players are very good at APM (can go way over 1000 sometimes) so use this to the advantage and maybe send a few smaller waves sometimes to keep up the pressure.

Overall excellent! Looking forward to the improvements in the next version!

Just looked at the code. Very nice guys! Still a lot of stock spam, but I like the 3 different variations on open/mid/late giving 27 different combination's for each race. Will run some tests now and play a few games against it!

The English doesn't sound right, the Japanese is also very odd. Leads me to believe the rest don't sound right either.

Just ran it on 1v1v1v1 with v5.5 as the background and I have to say I'm speechless. You can tell it isn't using blizzards faulty state system from the word go. It absolutely steamrolled all three of the other players with one army. Was no competition at all, the units lost was in the hundreds for the other three and in the 20's for this AI.

There are a few niggles I noticed here and there, but that could just have been because I only ran one test.

Amazing, can't wait to see this method applied to the other races. Its a shame you did Protoss first, since that's the race I know the most, but nevermind!

From the looks of the code this is a really good method. I was thinking of making my own functions from scratch as well since I didn't like the stock spam, but wasn't keen on the amount of work involved.

Great job guys really can't wait to see how this develops.

Wow thank you Dariusz! I'm just working through some improvements now, I was thinking of completely revamping the end game since it tended to die a lot against the terrain end game :(.

I'm going to start work on the protoss end game and the other races tomorrow will post updates then!

Ah yes I've noticed that, I think that's due to the wave timings, I may have to adjust them a little more since I think everything has to be timed for when the waves are sent.

Please note I've changed very little in terrain and zerg, nearly all the changes are to protoss. I will do terrain and zerg and improve protoss more if people like this protoss AI.

This is a modified version of V5.1 of usmc23 and Turdburgler's AI.

I have done a few timing tweaks and edited quite a bit, but the majority of the changes are in the Protoss AI.

The protoss AI should now be much more intelligent than before, beating the other two AI in terms of economy and military.

Please test it out and give me feedback. If you like it I will try and improve the Protoss AI further and eventually edit the other two races.

Please note that the Zerg and Terrain AI's are pretty much unedited from the original V5.1 so there should be no notable difference in this version apart from the timing changes.

I have included both Cheat mode and non-Cheat modes below.

Cheat mode includes:

- 2x resource gathering
- AI can see whole map
- No limit on the actions per minute

How did you get it to record replays of you playing AI? I haven't found how to do that yet.
