U.S Battle.net Patch Servers

Hi,
Are the U.S Battle.net Patch Servers still down? I can't seem to get my sc2 installation updated.

Also, vernam7's launcher works with patch 16 right?

I am trying to install SC2 on my new machine. I have all the updates on another computer and transferred them to the new machine but I can't seem to force the updates. They are contained in a folder called Versions. I have read about an updates folder but I do not have an "updates" folder on either the new machine (post beta) or the old machine (during beta).


Any help on forcing the updates?
