And acquired sc2... Online is TOTALLY different, and oh so wonderful! Yet I have to wonder, is a drop hack even possible at this stage of the game? I would be 9-1 for my 1st 10 games if I hadn't been dropped moments before victory on 2 games!

Well everything is authenicated Threw battle.net much like wow's warden so it would really hard and very detectable.
as to your drops. its been happening to everyone, just a few connection problems they have working on to stabilize, should better as they patch it(or worst if they mess up lol)
I know my roommate has a key and he won a game cause the other guy dropped, was hilarious. He got hatemail like 20 minutes later
