Title: Via Ethernet?
Post by: Ozymus on August 14, 2011, 12:43:13 PM
It's possible to play via ethernet? my pc linked to my brother's notebook? But without internet connection!

I saw that when i start a game like host i can login nrmally to SC2 but if i'm not the host (and no intenet connection) i can't login.

Can someone explain me hot to play with my brother via ethernet or wireless router, without internet connection? :(

Yes this should work via an Ethernet cable. What do you mean log in offline? When you login using starfriend it is always offline. There is not log in offline option with Starfriend like the official version of Starcraft II so yes that is normal.

"offline" i mean with no internetc connection active.

When i try to open SC2 with starfriend (no host), and i'm not online, tha game tell me that i need internet connection...

Now work.

When i am the host, my brother had to ping me with my IPv4 in "cmd" and than the login work normally. :)
