I have played 4 teams (me and 3 AI) FFA map. It worked fine without any   lag. But when I updated SC2 Beta to patch 5. I got a serious lag when I   was playing. The loading time was very long too. This problem didn't   occur before. So I tried reinstall and played it again. It was confirmed   that the game was very lag only after updated it to patch 5. It was   like there were some memory leak. I tested it on another PC and it had   the same problem.

I checked it on Blizzard forum but I didn't find anyone complain about this patch. So I didn't know if this problem occurred because of AI or   not. But it shouldn't be a problem because I didn't change AI. I used AI   Starcrack 6.11 And I also tried another AI but the lag still occured. I think that it might be because most people played only 1v1 and   that's why no one complain about it. It worked fine if I played 1v1 with   AI. I want to ask that does someone here also has the same problem?

My laptop specification
Core2 Duo T7250 2GHz
Ram 3GB
Geforce 8600M GS 512MB

Try with lowered settings and see if that helps any.

Mine does this alot, usually at least 5 times a match. Needless to say, very annoying. The game runs perfectly fine at 50 FPS on custom (mostly medium and high)

My processor is a single core, but seriously it runs FINE in between the freezing. Video card is 9800GTX, 4 gigs dd2 ram, etc.

Try with lowered textures, and report back your results.

I demand you change your name to Michael Jackson on this website.  ;) Also be sure to attain 10 posts before the deadline.
Thanks! :P
My nick is hell bad because, I truly don't understand why, they banned my old account on these forums...
They told me that I was masking my youtube account URL with a porn website (in my signature). That must've been a misunderstanding, or maybe the person who banned me had some kind of virus or something that redirected him to a porn website. The URL I had in my signature in my banned account was: www.youtube.com/user/sacroid
So that's why I have a crappy nickname right now... SCSac ; Sac is from Sacroid....
No, the person banning you, nor I had a virus. Your link referred to youytube.
I also think you should change your name to Michael Jackson around here.  :)

If you are using a launcher, make sure you have "Disable all textures" ticked off.

Why when I download it from Medifire and when I try to extract it it tells me that the file is damaged?? :(

Removed solutions on the basis that you are masking your porn adverts as a youtube link.

I'm sure this is a noob question...

Anyone have a link to a step-by-step of what to do with this once downloaded? I'm lost

1: Unpack the rar file
2: Copy the files you unpacked to the root of your Starcraft 2 Beta installation folder.
3: Run Starcraft II - Beta Launcher.exe

So, i have the launcher working on the point where i can pick my ai and such, but when i hit play, it says the program cant perform an action due to the security policy. and i do have the network thing that is required but i cant find how to set it so it has the Permission to run. Any help?

I assume you are running Vista or 7? Make sure to "Run as Administrator" the launcher. Also, try turning off the "Use Internet" feature.

i am using Wind. 7, but even after turning off Use internet and running as admin the problem persists ;[

Is your account an Administrator account?
Could you provide a screenshot of the error message or an exact wording of it.
What antivirus are you using?

Hey their,
0.22 should be released before the next ten hours. Stand ready.

That sounds awsome, I gave my little brother version 0.21 yesterday and he really liked to be able to choose race. Thank you.

alright, so i downloaded the file but now i have no idea what to do. can some1 please explain to me how to make the launcher work?
1: Unpack the rar file you downloaded.
2: Copy all files to the root of your Starcraft 2 installation folder.
3: Run "Starcraft II - Beta Launcher.exe" [Might need to right click and run as administrator].

On the first post in this thread there is a link to maps from sYk0 that works great.

Okay, I think we just should ignore them. Don't feed the troll.

Someone was asking about this already? o.O Than im sorry, just was too lazy to read all 62 pages =P

Still, could anyone help me with the "Unable to open map" problem? It happens to me with any "replay loader"...

Maybe they should add a BIG arrow pointing to the search box at the top right of the page, cuz apparently NOONE can find it.

Lolol. I tried to put it in "search", but it found only my posts =/

Have you tried this?

Biggest problem is most likely that you did not give us enough information to help you.

Give us more info and you might get lucky.

Okay people, ive done literally everything I can do. I really need some help here.I've disabled all anti-virus software, firewalls, everything... but I cant extract the lazylauncher ANYWHERE. I also can't run it at any time. I've tried dragging and dropping directly from the archive, extracting it to the desktop and other random folders. Everything and anything gets extracted or moved EXCEPT this launcher.

Any ideas? I run vista... regrettably.

Unfortunately ive looked through Mcafee and the file isn't in quarantine at all. I've got my antivirus off permanently so it won't even start when i boot up, but the problem is still here...

Edit, what program are you using to extract the file?

Great launcher for all of us not able to get into the beta. Just 2 things;

Can I save and watch my own games vs AI? Like in the official beta. I see a view replay button in the beta launcher but I don't know how to save replays of my games.

Do you guys or anyone for that matter think there will ever be a way to LAN this so we can play something other than vs AI? In peer to peer software like gameranger, garena etc

Thanks

Replays are saved automatically here My Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Replays.

To view them follow this guide http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/not-enough-pylons/starcraft-2-guide-bypassing-maps-replays-ai/

Also do not forget to press Restore before trying to watch a replay.

Hope it helps.

Edit: I have noticed that some maps are kinda screwed up, won't load etc. I use the maps from sYk0 and they seem to work perfect for me. You could always test that if you have not already. http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/ai-scripts/starcraft-2-beta-offline-ai-maps/msg4109/#msg4109

shouldn't we used  the original maps instead of hacked maps?

These hacked maps include the original loading screen, unhacked maps do not if I got it right. So I would say these are better.

Also, Valkirie. Thanks for all the nice work on the launcher.

@program
kindly relocate your difficulty ai folder..

I know where to place AI but it didnt work for 6.1, so my guess is - it is not made for v 6.1 yet. Now all is working with AI 6.0 but not  AI 6.1. Now who the hell gave me -1 Karma ???

Some bugs I want to point out:
• Some team colors make the launcher not work (White, Grey, LightBlue that has not even color).
• some modes like Observer/Refree work but referee not much
• You need to select race for each or it wont run / will not responding program. That means I cant be my race and make PCs random, they have to be a race
• If you make some computer to be None, it also wont load the game and will freeze.
• cannot detect AI 6.1 at all

Now my Most asking quetiosn - HOW do I play 2v2 ? Ally pls, how do u make same team

2v2 does not work.

Changing computers to None works for me.

When you have downloaded StarCrack you can't only copy that folder to the AI folder, you have to make some changes to the folder structure.

This is the wrong way.
AI->StarCrack AI V6.1 (Standard Edition)->Mods->Liberty.SC2Mod->Base.SC2Data

This is the correct way.
AI->StarCrack AI V6.1 (Standard Edition)->Base.SC2Data

Hope that helps.
