TriggerLibs for several AI:
http://dionysus.dk/SC2/Mods.rar
And some have their base files as well. Just put all files in the mod folder into mods/ai folder in SC to make it work with this launcher.
There might be a few bugs with this mod though. Some maps would not load for me, maybe because they were edited. Also replays would not work.

Wow, still nice and simple :) This launcher just gets better and better. Thanks.

SC2 Tools / Re: StarCraft II Launcher
March 11, 2010, 10:29:30 AM
I am hoping this launcher gets team support as well sooner or later. No rush, but when it does this will be my preferred launcher. Also this launcher seems to run better than the ones still experimenting a bit with team play, although I have not had any major problems on that part,

I wont buy SC2 before Blizzard adds support for LAN. If they add the option to give friends 10 days trials or something to play only in games with you, and renew that every 5-6 months, a bit like the original spawning concept, then that might change my mind as well, although it would not replace LAN at all. As long as it requires Internet to play multiplayer its not a true Starcraft, or even a true Blizzard game. With the changes of people who are behind Blizzard, I am guessing it will never be the Blizzard I once new and loved again.
They still hold quality high at least. So high I probably will wait for and use the cracked way of playing in LAN without Internet when that comes. Probably within the next 5 months.

Yea, sometimes I get that as well. The time with the turrets I think I closed one enemy in his base with photon cannons. I think that is what saved me. My main problem is Zerg vs. Zerg. or just Zerg really, I am not building fast enough. I think it is about when to build queen, when to mass troops and when to expand that is my problem. Maybe I should try a zerg and zerg team, so I can copy the computers build  :-[

I have won more than a few games. I just like to challenge myself. I suck at Zerg, but just for the fun of it, at v. 6.0 I tried winning with protoss using only 2 types of units. Probes and the Mothership  :D  It was FFA, which helps alot, but at times I had Terran at the with Battle Cruisers and Protoss with carriers. With only these two unit types I was filling the map with photon cannons though. Use a strategy of making pylons below or above a wall then going on the other side to spawn the cannons, after having made cannons above or below first. It seems it was an okay tactic, but is not that easy to win with, since it can be rather expensive. I almost ran out of resources in that game, and was rather lucky that protoss at one point all but destroyed the Terran. The tactic was easier against zerg, although the mothership was needed against hatcheries :)

Trying those kinds of things is usefull for learning the finer mechanics of the game, and how they have balanced it. Zerg creep from a hatchery just exactly keeps photon cannons out of its range :)

oh sry i thought u were talking about the AI playing... idk about the replays... did u put ur maps under C:\Users\<username>\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps ?

And put the same maps under C:\Users\<username>\apps\local\battlenet\cache
or some folder similar to that depending on your OS. I do not need to use original Blizzard maps to play this way. Oh, and replays works like a charm as well :)

is there a way to save replay vs ai?

I havent tried it yet, but as long as the maps are in both the MAPS folder under documents, and in the battlenet cache folder, then replays seems to work just fine. I am playing with sYk0s AI mappack, and all but Shakuras Plateau is working. Although I need to do some more testing. I had some problems with the "Shakuras Plateau" map as well as a few others when trying to make a mappack with built in AI. Most the others were two player maps though.

Btw, why are the choices for these maps only AI or human? Disabled is missing for some reason. What did that last bye do? :) I do not mind referee and observer not being added, rather useless choices really.

Hehe, out of boredom just played vs 3 teamed up zerg as terran  ;D  , without marine rushing :P . Total bloodbath it was, I barely managed to win, thanks to battlecruisers and MM drop.

Patiently waiting for a new version! o/
Nice :) I have still only played about 10-15 full games of SC2 total. So I have barely gotten the hang of it yet. Most the time I have been looking at how the AI battles the AI. So I sometimes still struggle against 1 AI. Probably because I should stick to one race at a time and get to know the new ways of building up fast, efficiently and in the right order. When to expand, and when to just pump out troops, and when to tech up. It all needs a good balance and done in the right order. Especially since the AI seems to have become almost better than me. Zerg vs Zerg 1on1 I have a hard time winning. My build order sucks compared to the AIs it seems  :(
Which makes Starcraft 2 all the more interesting for now :) Would be a bit boring having mastered this game before I could play against real people anyway.

what about the teams bytes? the starcrack launcer has it working stable any idea on that?
It's not contained into MapInfo, starcrack launcher is reading/writing memory.

Oh, that is nice to know and very impressive :D Perfect way to do it, and explains why replays work very well with that loader. Guess the last thing needed is making a script that fixes the team settings in the AI, which the Starlauncher 0.41 fixed somehow.

Galaxy Maps / Re: Warcraft VS Starcraft
March 09, 2010, 11:23:15 AM
If the Galaxy editor really is as powerful as they say, it should only be a matter of time before it is modded for RPG and medievel settings. Just a question of making a few textures. It would probably lag some doodads, and other stuff to put on the maps, but I am guessing there will be a way to convert Warcraft 3 graphics to Starcraft 2? I hope so at least :D

:)  Hello!
I have Russian SC2 client. And I don't be able to run my own replays.  :(
I see theirs in main menu. But when I tray to run replay I got error message "Unable to open map"
I played SC2 with SC2Launcher2.2.1.
What I must to do?

Not sure if it might be because of the russian client, but try copying maps to your download folder and the same maps to your maps folder.

C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache\Download
And the same maps should be put into your map folder, and the launcher should run the maps from the mapfolder. You find it under your documents/starcraft 2 beta.
With the map in both folders it should fix this problem.

Apm is irrelevant.. Its something for nerds to talk about..
You can watch your replay and see it there..
I hate watching first person play because of apm spammers.. Seriously some guys click 10 times for a fricking move and just select random stuff for no reason..And worker selection at the start is annoying

Just because ur noob and dont understand it doesn't mean it's for nerds... APM is displayed in broodwar replays, war3 replays, also here. They pay attention to it however it is not the main measure of skill. It isnt just selection...  The overall actions including micro if you have heard of it also contribute to higher

SC2 makes APM much smaller than war3, in war3 I get 200+ here I start at 170 then in the end of the game is lowered to 130..

True, I am noob. Or maybe it is just that you are playing at the faster setting and I am not. Kinda changes the APM.
But SC2 already has APM in its replays for all players, whats the problem?
