i just realized that even though i have show fps ticked, i don't have fps being shown in the game

maybe this has something to do with why i'm having some problems running starcrack 6.1?

@bloodcrave what windows are you using??

I can confirm that the new nVidia drivers ruin the game. Dont update!

no. Just set your fan from auto to manuel and set the tempatures and youll be fine also
Goto mydocuments\starcraft II beta\Variable.txt and add the lines
frameratecap=60
frameratecapGlue=30

and it will help solve these issues

what are these for?

So does this work with original maps now?

If not how do we do the AI maps with the AI number? Does it matter which one we select?
Yes it work with original maps.

I dont understand.. what does it mean??
so we dont have to use the hacked maps again??

what's the diff between hacked maps and ori maps??

This launcher does not incorporate AI changes. You'd have to manually put the baseSC2data file in place yourself. If you haven't done so, it's using the default Blizzard (brain dead) AI.

LOL.. no wonder !!  :D

I just played 2v2..

but I dont get it.. what AI this launcher used??

seems the AI are pretty dumb.. it even cant destroy the rocks guarding their base in shakuras plateu..

QuoteI was looking for some new replays, and suprisingly it was very hard to find some :(

But, here it is, try this one: http://www.nibbits.com/sc2/replays/
This website here also has a lot of recent replays: http://starcraft.gamesports.net/de/replays/

But for some reason, none of them work.. even the new ones give "replay desync" error.

try to update your cache..

I think the main problem is, the maps cache in AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache become outdated after install the latest patch.. so we have to update the cache after install a new patch..
and maybe in your case, triggerlibs make you cant view replay..

anyway, can I ask your cache folder?? or you can just show me a download link..
maybe using your cache will work for me..

yes, i did that in the first place. I DL-ed one from here, try it yourself: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5404675/StarCraft_2_%28_II_%29_Beta_Advanced_Loader_NEW%28fix_replay_desync%29

Read the description of the torrent and just use the cache files. And you got some fine replays from this torrent too ;) Btw, after this cache update, i still wasn't able to view replays. But after removing triggerlibs, it did just fine.

I was looking for some new replays, and suprisingly it was very hard to find some :(

But, here it is, try this one: http://www.nibbits.com/sc2/replays/

okay,, thx a lot dubfire..

anyway I usually download replays from http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=112991

nice one...looking forward to bnet look  :P
aand, i think i solved the problem with replay desync. I removed the triggerlibs dir i had in sc2 folder  (and before that i used the button restore), and restarted launcher. Seems to work now. With older replays too :P

I have reiinstall my starcraft 2 beta yesterday and updated it to 14259..
so it's obvious I dont have any triggerlibs folder in my starcraft 2 directory..
and of course I still have all the original files in my starcraft 2 folder..

then I ran this launcher to view replay. but still get replays desync..

I think the main problem is, the maps cache in AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache become outdated after install the latest patch.. so we have to update the cache after install a new patch..
