Hey, I've been posting around for a little now, and I've decided to tell you a little about me.


       
  • I am a misanthrope, and as such, I may come out as an ass to you on occasion. When I do, try to pay no mind to it.
  • I am atheist, so the topic of religion may start debates. Again, pay no mind, I simply like debating.
  • I am a pretty rough critic, so things I know about, I'll probably annoy you and mention every little detail. I'm also a grammar whore, but I've learned to contain that part. You get used to it when only about 5% of humanity can spell decently. :|
  • I suck at melee, I did in original StarCraft, I do now. But I'm learning... VERY SLOWLY. I've played StarCraft since it came out, but I've always found UMS far more entertaining.
  • I dislike drugs, whoopedy doo.
  • I have low self-confidence, with pretty fair reasoning, imo. But I don't really care what most people think anyways, so it doesn't matter.
And that's about all I can think of.

Well that depends, are you talking about for the site itself, lazylauncher, or the AI/maps?

If it's the lazylauncher, I don't believe DarkBlizz is working on that directly. If it's the AI/maps, go to the topic that holds them. If for the site, well idk what to tell ya.

the more you try to control what an AI does the wors it gets.

Imagine a real RTS AI that only needs to know what it needs and it will get to this in best possible way becuse it can think out the best way there on it's own. Only then can it start to rival the human mind. This might even invent build orders smarter than any normal player has thought of yet.

Ya, I'm aware. But what you said is what I was thinking, yet you thought wrong of what I was thinking and I corrected what I thought you thought I was thinking... if you understand.

Not to offend the OP, but... does this really deserve a sticky? He's not updating it, and if he does, he can just post that he did and bump it back up to the top of the forum. Otherwise, it's just kinda taking up space unnecessarily.

Ah, one of the more original, well thought out questions that noone woulda thought of before....

Anywho, it'll be done when it's done. He can't just say XX/XX/XXXX at XX:XX. It's not really a process in which you plan out everything ahead of time.

Think you got that backwards. What you think I'm saying is that I want it to be intelligent, but I'm not taking the artificial part into mind.

I personally prefer the Mothership. It can cloak buildings. BUILDINGS! Who doesn't wanna cloak their buildings? :D

All of the available maps have been cracked. If you can't find it here, it likely doesn't exist. This will probably be so until the Galaxy Editor is released.

Is AI that players made in the way that, something records a players actions and takes down what they build when. I know this is breaching reality a bit, but I think that'd be really cool. ^.^

Good news. :) I actually beat em without the blocking. It wasn't nearly as easy, but I did it. :D </confidence boost>
