That being said, he could try a proxy connection based in RU/EU. I dont know if the installer checks for region or not, but Im almost certain that the bnet game lists/matching are restricted.  It may work if you simply add each other, I dont know.  I have beta, but no friends outside the US who also have the beta.

I got my beta key on Sat, but when I was playing my first game, my GPU overheated at 95*C.  I had to RMA my comp to MSI, so I will know more at the end of this week. Ill PM you then.  You can add me treckin.treckin I believe.

I dont know if that means that their direct LAN idea went poof or what, but Im sure if they have 'world class' crypto guys and assembly code guys, it couldn't hurt...
