Hi there, I had an error occurence too:
application wasn't able to initialise correctly (0xc0000135)

I used search fonction but found nothing...

I had AI stuff installed so I deleted all sub directory local setting/ battlenet  , my documents/ starcraft II beta
and then reinstalled everything but the error still show up.

Hey first of all some kisses to dev team..

I wrote a complete post but there was a bug all to be rewritten so cause i'am lazy, i will sum up.

I was testing the AA reaction AI, wich was an important step of 6.1.

Human VS Terran AI: no problems the most powerfull build uses mass marines or vikings, but if I harass its base AI will counter by doing AA turrets. So terran is fine no problems here.

Human VS zerg : no tested yet srry

Human vs protoss: a reaction came after i attacked, but it was a bit slow... I had the time to bring reinforcements before the AI produce enought to counter.

So reaction is mainly working fine, its just a matter of time before it gets really effective thx a lot guys

@Ulysse31   you suxx at english that's true ^^.
But I agree with when you say that the AI must harass the player.
That's why Turd and co are now trying to get the AI reactiv against the player.


BTW Your english is fine and it's a pleasure to see at least another french ppl here.

Nothing to say but GG guys.

-AI is no more trying to escape and so lose less units.
-When He  attacks, he destroy all the base if he can.

-Protoss are particulary dangerous with a big variety of units in middle game

-I want to precise for people complaining THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT SPEED TO FASTER:
AI is more effective against humans at faster cause he reacts on the same way as in normal speed but you don't....

So even if this AI is easly beat vs any Hasus player, I don't see differences with this one and the many AI I had the opportunity to play against in various games. So again good job again guys. Every new updates are extra fun now.

About blink and other capacity, I just want to notice that AI devs have already make progress.
I'am fed up with ppl complaining "Ai iz too weak, its not like playing vs humanz"
Sure but we have to remenber that SC1 AI was cheated, this one is more complexe to complete and we can be happy to play a better AI that the legit beta player are.

Hi everyone,

I want to talk about the AI micro, I  mean it is not  as crap as we can guess.
For exemple, Toss flee every times you have a bigger army, but try to get back, take damages (terrible, terrible) and go back again. That's how the AI lose.

But when your army is smaller than the AI army, he uses capacity like blink or whatever. It means, that the micro, is already here, but with wrong settings...

I saw differents kind of situations: AI have a lot of basic units (zealots immortals...)  but you have more...;  they will flee.

They can have a few powerfull units like carriers, even if you have a huge army they will attack you withe the BCs or carriers...

My point is, the units are identified with values, each kind of units have a value more powerfull she is, higher is the value.
When the AI attack, he compare the value of his army to your. If you have bette value , he will run.

So, the micro AI problem, must be due to a simple conditional script...
