Nah, nobody is mad. They don't care what others say but they like sarcasm. Site will be up again soon.

And why are you asking for proof? They were working in secret for past 15-16 days and now site leaked and all hell broke loose. Where is Teknogods proof? LazyTown proof? ANY PROOF?

My last post.

Never asked for proof. I said if you don't, people will doubt you. I know there is no true "proof" that can be offered, aside from the actual thing being released. I'm a patient man, I will wait to see what happens. If it's real, I get to play multiplayer. If it's fake, it won't affect me in the slightest. Good luck to your team, and I hope that are able to crack it soon!

What the hell is that all about? I'm sorry, but offering no proof, people are going to doubt you. Even if you offer "proof" people will still doubt you until release. It's just a fact. There are too many fakers out there, that people have to doubt what they see on the internet. And aside from the sc2c chat (which is always a bunch of immature idiots), no one here has dissed them or been rude to them.

Well you are right there, but it must be error. There is no way to capture all packets in like 7-8 days.

skid is capturing the packets so sentence should have looked like this:

skid: Packets are done. Every possible packet regarding SC2 <INSERT SOMETHING HERE LIKE LOGIN/AUTH/ETC> is captured, analysed and uploaded to respective folders on the FTP. I will see if the new patch brought somethng else and do that asap.
And it is impossible that he captured all packets because he is doing gameplay right now. Error.

As for video, if you take a closer look you will see that last update was 0.4. Video will feature 0.6. That is delay + they want to SHOW something. Now just a blank program with some buttons.
+ First Video Post was 4 days ago

Anyway, I won't explain every little error you find. You think scene groups have websites and post progress? These guys are just giving updates, they are not professional article writers...

No one is asking you too. ;) I'm sure you can understand our skepticism. However, if this is true, I'm honestly getting very excited, because I'm dying to play some multiplayer with my friends.  ;D

This guy shows nothing, absolutely nothing.

I mean, i *could* understand that he does not want to release something, but he doesn't even give any technical information.

This really _is_ a fake.
Believe what you will.

Hey. Please don't argue in this topic. As for:

Just a random thought... After looking at this site: http://www.code-gen.net/sc2beta/ it looks like they are getting really close. Do you think it would help to try and share some info with each other? Maybe you can help them speed up their progress. I dunno, just throwing it out there. Keep up the good work guys.
In order to do so, both sides must be willing to share. As you can see we have everything public here... even if it's not much of a progress and they probably have this figured out weeks ago.

Freundschaft, making any progress?

Sorry, never intended to get off topic. Maybe try emailing them (they have a link for email) to see if you could join forces? I'll leave you to your work now. :)

Well thanks for the update (if it's legit). Don't mind my skepticism, but it's the internet, so it's hard to trust things. ;)

However, under the pretense that this is legit, are they going to be sharing to the public once completed? Because according to that site, it sure seems like they want to keep everything fairly private.

I know it is hard to trust. But they have been operating in "secret" for 15 days now. Someone found the link and visitors got higher (read my post above again, I edited it).

Of course it will be shared. They are older people (some younger) and they don't play games :)

As I said, I gathered them to make us Multiplayer. One way or another. If I wasn't asked they would never touch this.

Well then I guess only time will tell! Looking forward to playing this soon, if indeed they are as close as they are claiming.

Demo video of what? The emulation?

I'm assuming the emulator and the progress they've made.

lol.... i just see a kid trying to get a BETA KEY.

It's possible, but you could say the same about DarkBlizz, or Teknogod's Team Lazytown. They are asking for keys as well. Are they just kids wanting a key?

They are not trying to get a key. They already have two. They need another one so they can play between themselves for packets and other stuff. First key is used by a person who is making packets and second is a player. Third would also be a player-only.

I am the founder of this group, but I just do some legwork for them. These people are insane computer reversers and programmers so I can't fit into that category and do some serious work. I just know alot of people on RCE scene and I gathered the best. And they will do the job. When? I don't know.

Anyway, Demo video should be out in the evening or tomorrow max. so you will see how it will look like. First version anyway.

as i know we have 3 (three) teams working on the bnet emu.. one of them is gonna do it 1st.

Well if this "Code Gen" is one of those teams (and it looks like they are definitely trying to beat Teknogods), then they are very very close... Like within a week based upon the progress they've already made.

I was browsing some mobile warez sites I saw this in General Talk. Someone posted a topic with link about Emu crew. Link is www.code-gen.net/sc2beta/

It seems they are working on something...

Hmm... not sure about that one. No forums, no way too communicate, and in almost every post they are asking for a beta key... Seems sketchy to me. I'll believe it when I see it.

Edit: After reading the entire thing, I think they might be legit, but even if they do crack it, it looks like they are mostly keeping it to themselves for awhile, and only releasing it to select groups...

AI with this launcher is easy

Launchers have nothing to do with the difficulty of the AI. I don't get how people keep thinking this. You select your AI from the launcher, nothing more.

u never know...there could be people who cracked bnet 2.0 alrdy and not made it public due to the fear of Blizzard finding out and banning unauthorized beta users...just a thought, but if you could put it on ur own server i guess blizzard couldnt do anything about it.

I highly doubt. Being able to successfully crack Blizzard's server is no easy task, and I guarantee whomever did it would want to show that they were the first. Also, Blizzard couldn't ban them, because it's a private server. So they can't close down the private servers, and they won't be able to link these people to any real bnet accounts. So there is nothing Blizzard can do once it's cracked.

I noticed turdbugler said on the chat that bypassing the login screen means they got past the authentication, which is a big deal. That's the biggest hurdle, and the hardest part. So hopefully we see this fairly soon... I'm eager for an official update, although I have a feeling we won't hear anything until they are ready to release it.

/msg nickserv register passwort email

then u get an email...

/msg nickserv confirm and the number u get in ur email

Ya that's my problem. I type that in, it says it sent me a confirmation number, so I check my email, and there is nothing there. I don't have auto-delete for my spam folder, so it's not getting deleted. After a few days, I tried canceling it, and resending it. Again, it didn't arrive. I've tried it multiple times now over the past month. The stupid thing refuses to send me a confirmation email with a code.
