Is this launcher configured to only load in the contents of the TriggerLibs folder into the Base.SC2Data, or will it load any XML files that I put in the main mod directory? I want to mod out the XML files to add new ability AI.
You can put any files in the directories under Mods or you can place them in the Base directory (in which case it will be imported regardless of the map). The files are added to a copy of the map. The StarCraft II installation is not modified.

asdfghgghjdhg: Thanks. I guess you're gonna see at least a color selection soon :)

In my loader you can set the second slot to Player, in which case you can play as blue.

EDIT:
(4) Shakuras Plateau Novice
(4) Shakuras Plateau
loads with this superb looking loading screeen:

then in about 3/4 loaded i get this error:

and game exits to starcraft][ login menu... so those two maps aint working with me, anybody else?

all other maps loads with no problems but they do not have this sexy loading screen :(
Fixed in 2.0.2. It seems the map header is not fixed size after all.

Why does some maps have a loading screen and some not?.
You can get loading screens on all maps by extracting them to the StarCraft II directory. It seems like loading screens are somewhat bugged.

I have updated the launcher. This fixed the issue with adding too many files (MPQs have a fixed number of files they can hold and the limit was quite low on some maps).

Buzzard: I will not add any download option or replay option for the time being. The application is coded in Delphi (the source is included) and the FFA option is locked simply because I don't know how to setup teams.

It seems like the MPQ library I use have some problems with adding files to the StarCraft II maps. I'll look into it.

StarCraft II Launcher is a that let's you select a map, a modification and some player settings and it can then magically start the game with that map, modification and settings applied.

To play a map, simply download a map (it doesn't need any AI changes or stuff) from a site like http://www.nibbits.com/sc2/maps/. The Team StarCrack AI 6.1.1 is included in the package as an modification.

Download version 2.3.1:
