Hey 


Im trying to use this, but I cant seem to add maps to the launcher. I downloaded a map from sky0 and got the S2MA file, but when I try to add it can't detect it. Sorry if this is an easy problem, I actually never played a game of SC in my life yet, lol. 


Also when I run the tool, it says "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object"? Not sure what that means.    The message pops up, but doesnt stop the tool from opening.


Any help would be appreciated!

Very strange! I just tried adding maps from my unpacked Syk0 folder. Where is the folder located? Mine added no problem!  Try adding the maps manually into:C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps


Unless you have Vista or 7 then locate the same folder in your User\Documents folder

That's too bad the Pink is still there. Nvidia or ATI?

Could be IE 8 causing issue. Looks like it caused issues with gadgets in Vista (pink border)

im using xp + nvidia
have the pink background
but hmm i dont remember what button i pushed it just like refreshed the tools ui
and the pink background is gone !!

thanks for help man, but i have ATI Graphics XP Home and Firefox + Opera, IE Uninstalled completely. besides StarCraft 2 installer and updater runs normaly.  when i cahge desktop colour deep on 16bits launcher works normaly without this brder, on 32bit pink agen..
I think thet the problem in software requaerments, meybe i need to install vb Libreries and runtimes component, i dont know. Or it can be operating sistem fault. Someone run this launcher on Home Edition XP? Becouse web-desktop supports only in PRO. I was try too fix it all night but not... May be someone have XP home or Virtual Mashine with it, please try to run it.

So I did a total of 3 games against the Medium AI with this setup...I am amazed. The work that has gone into this is incredible. The AI is really, really tough. I have my work cut out for me.

Hmmm, i seem to have a problem when i want to watch a replay. The tool loads the screen but just when it's about to play it gives me a message that says "Replay Desync". What is that all about, and what can i do to fix it? I mention that i got the cache files from here http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-downloads/starcraft-2-cache-files-update/ . Thx in advance for the help.

because i was tired saying the same things again and again , i added a whole ***ing message into the tol next to the replays it self!! with big orange letters!


did you spend few seconds to read it or just logined to post a question that actually took you more time?






about the pink border lets "finish" it here, its some sort of compatibility issues with some XP and vga because its clear that in some systems if you try 16bit it works or 24bit and 32bit gives pink, i am aware of that and i will do more in the future to get rid of this non serious issue, because it spoils the nice GUI.


also i may do the multiselction for just replays, and in multiselection only delete will work, multirenaming is pointless!

Please read the thread fully before asking questions. Replay Desync is caused by the incorrect AI File being selected. If you're trying to watch a Blizzard replay (the first replays released) then you need to select the Very Easy AI (Blizzard Default)


If it's your own replay, you need to use the difficulty you used when that replay was made.

im having a problem i added maps from folder C:\StarCraft II Beta\Maps\ and now the programs starts up every time with this msg:

Access to path 'C:\StarCraft II Beta\SC2ALLin1\lastmap.s2ma' is denied.

is there any way to remove the last settings, i already cleaned the out the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Vernam7 folder is there setting saved elsewhere?

YOU DONT add maps FROM documents\beta\MAps this is your Destination! your maps should be like c:\downloads\blablabla, and the documents\beta\maps should be empty!


then add them from the tool it will copy them to documents maps automatically, not the other way arround! ;-)


also the messege you get probably you have a stuck proccess in your task manager, try restarting your system, and run the tool ONCE! ;-)
