This person has been doing a tremendous job providing frequent and in-depth updates on the dev's progress. Besides being a one-stop place for updates, you can avoid the massive spam in IRC and frequent server issues with these forums being flooded with traffic. I've found it to be much more convenient for a quick update of the dev's progress.

I heard on the piratebay comments that there was a way to get into a game but without the ai. Is this true? Because i would even be happy to just build stuff just on my own.. so i can play around a bit with it. Hope i don't bother u guys too much. xD

You're asking in the wrong place. Use TPB and IRC for questions like that. I believe the intent of these boards is for dev's to discuss issues and ideas they have, as well as for definitive updates and as guides (such as watching replays) become available.
