How to update/what happened to all the abilities?

I remember watching the abilities that some of the units had in the sc2 battle reports and gameplay footages.  thing such as the black hole ability on the mothership or the overload ability on the phoenix, these arent in the betas? or did they just get nerfed?

They probably were considered too powerful in comparison so they got rid of them completely

They were trashed because they unbalanced the game. those abilities and units will still be in the editor and some will be in the campaign.
