I'm on a HP laptop 2.0ghz dual core, with intel accelerator 4 video card. 3 gig ram.
All setting LOW 1200 x 800 resolution.
40-80 on ultra; all depends on the map, and how many units are present.
I've noticed that map definitely affects my FPS, less during nukes and a little stuttery when mothership cloaks a fresh batch of units.
Hmm.... I haven't checked my FPS (I guess I can do that when I get home), but I've played 6-player maps, and I run max settings and I haven't noticed any hiccups at all, which means I'm not dropping below 40FPS.
My specs are an Intel Dual-Core 2.6GHZ, ATI Radeon HD 5750, and 3GB RAM.

170 - 200 FPS but i play on a low res, with everything medium.
I'm playing on ultra high with 80-100 fps
I have a GTX285 overclocked an a q9550 quadcore and 4gb ddr-1066
Low: 80-100
Med: 60-80
high: 40-60
ultra: 20-40
About that area depending on what's going on during the game.
If I play game speed Fastest. Ultra is playable, unless I zoom in then it slows considerably.

Holy crap man... Why do you need that much FPS? The human eye can only start to see stuttering when it gets below 40FPS, with 60FPS being the "sweetspot" for an average FPS. You could totally raise your settings a little and not see any downgrade in gameplay...

Is not because of that. 60 FPS are enough for me. I wold play everything at ULTRA if my hard-disk woldn't be damaged. It makes me lag a bit so well...i prefer performance sometimes xD.

40-80 FPS FPS are very unstable depending on what map or units are displayed, but it's always smooth

On ultra with shader set to extreme, 1600x1200, I get around 80 FPS. I made my comp, so it runs smooth.

I discovered a way to increase FPS:
Set desktop resolution to 800x600 with 16 bits
And set SC2 to window mode:P
You'll get some +16 FPS for sure,if not more
