Title: OLD -Early Beta Release
Post by: Myst on March 23, 2010, 05:09:13 PM
This is an early developmental release.
Note* All features such as auto-swapping of names/chars are not implemented yet.

I just wanted to get this out for some initial testing and get you namebotters started on getting names.

Download Here (http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/../../thief/RoDv2.rar)

Great work on the design btw

Really isnt much you can mess up guys o.O

Verbyte is: 0D
Disregard Launch, it doesnt do anything.

Failed Decode: Does not support the new 26digit keys yet. Make sure you're using the old 16digit keys without "-"'s.

And Hash files are already up to date in the folders

Let me know if you have troubles

Hey myst thanks for the quick reply, I have everything configured 100% correctly, and yet I still seem to be getting this stupid Failed Decode error..I have try'd everything, new cd keys, restarting comp, resetting net etc... the previous version worked without any trouble so I am pretty sure I haven't set anything up wrong, any ideas on what could be causing the Failed Decode error? if not, no problem I will keep working on it

No need to restart computer.

Are you placing 16digit D2 NONExpansion keys in D2DV_Keys.txt and 16Digit EXPansion keys in D2XP_Keys.txt?

I'll be in Op DarkBlizz @USWEST if anyone needs live assistance.

You guys using 16-Digit CdKeys, with non -'s in them?  If so Oddesey had the same problem, and when I gave him another set of keys, it worked.

well in theory at its current state, since it does disconnect the BNCS connection once it logins into realm, You could launch more exe's of RoDv2.  But best offusing  different BNCS names incase you get filled up

:o idk if u know this or not but when it creates a name it doesnt create it with a capital letter
Title: Re: Early Beta Release
Post by: Myst on March 24, 2010, 12:41:01 PM
all the data loaded, i.e keys, names, chars, etc are loaded into a hash table all lowercased.  these tables help loading/grabbing data when there is a lot of it, i.e when someone would load a ridiculous amount of names to be made.
^well thats the technical reason why because Hash(myst) is different from Hash(Myst).  Anyways yeah, I understand on D2 Client how you can't edit the names since they're all loaded lowercase.  And I guess I'll not lower case anything and keep everything as is when being loaded in next release.

But for now you could just use a bot which has realm support and login to your character and type it whatever way you want.  And then once logged in, disconnect and logon with D2 client and see if the characters name has changed.  See attachments for what I mean (Although I think current version of Genesis loaded on this site might not have the ability as seen in that SS, not sure, it might, actually the more I think about it, I'm pretty sure you can do it, with the version on this site.)

Very nicely done Myst, I noticed the memory leak from prior version is fixed as well. I love the simplicity version 2. One minor thing that is fairly annoying though is the capitalization of letters doesn't work correctly in this version for instance if i was to try to bot God it would show up as god.  Excellent job  :jig:
Title: Re: Early Beta Release
Post by: moona on March 26, 2010, 06:51:08 PM
Has been working great Myst. The biggest problem Ive had is that it wont show up in the gui all the names/accts/cdkeys I have

Say im botting 5 names. It will only show up as 3 or 4

or if i have 3 Accounts only 2 will show(same thing with cd keys)

I know that the switch feature hasn't been enabled yet but not sure why it doesn't recognize all my names

I know they are all valid names/keys/accts

Any solutions :P

Yeah, for now, at the end of every list press enter so there is one and only one blank line after the last item.

Is that key that is being used work on the actual game client? Or any other bot?  Make sure its a valid 16-Digit D2 Key.
Title: Re: Early Beta Release
Post by: Mike on March 27, 2010, 01:19:32 PM
If it has proxy support the number is limited to the amount of proxies you have and the actual efficiency of the code. If it does not support proxies then it is limited to 8 per realm unless you use socks cap or some other work around.
Title: Re: Early Beta Release
Post by: Myst on March 27, 2010, 04:46:19 PM
Mike: On D2 realms you're not restricted per IP.

Anyways guys, fixed a lot of the issues, i.e lowercased chars, and a couple other things.  Still looking into the "key decode" issues.
Also just added support for the multiple MCP connections now.  It got so much faster....was getting 50-100 tested per second, when I launched like 10.

I've been working on the Auto-Swap features, thinking about how and when I should enable them.  At the moment in my current version, it switches the account when it detects if its full on initial connection.  But the account can get full during the working time.  So I think I might just make a function that gets called on a interval to check if char is fulled or not.  And if so, should I switch accounts automatically OR just disconnect that MCP connection and have it labeled somewhere that the account is full.  Stuff to think about.
I might release a new version tonight. We'll see.

Your probably hit start twice while it was still trying to connect.  If you couldn't connect on the first time you may be IP-Banned from the server.

Verbyte = 0D

Loaded 432 Character names.
Loaded 1 Battle.net accounts.
Loaded 8 D2DV CdKeys.
Loaded 8 D2XP CdKeys.
BNCS(0) Connecting to asia.battle.net

stays in this state for 10 min. now

vbyte is 0D

idk what i am doing wrong :S

and not ip-banned cuz 5seconds before i tried connecting through rogue of diablo, i successfully connected through d2 client.

Well I can't think of what the issue is nor can I reproduce it on my end.  You'll have to wait till the next release for more error handling so user errors can be narrowed down.
The only other thing I can think of his that you don't have some Visual Basic Runtime files needed to run the program.
Download http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bf9a24f9-b5c5-48f4-8edd-cdf2d29a79d5&displaylang=en (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bf9a24f9-b5c5-48f4-8edd-cdf2d29a79d5&displaylang=en)   and install the files in your /System.  See if that helps.
Other than that, you'll have to wait for the next release if it doesn't help.

After further investigation of the "key decode" problems.  With some test keys users gave me that they were using, they were all invalid keys.  I tested each key on "www.battle.net" and all received a invalid key response.
So please for your sake and mine, use keys that you know work and tested.

Got a interested question through PM today about transferring botted accounts to main accounts.
If one were to transfer the character created through RoD to a main account would that lessen your chances of being flagged and getting banned.
OR
If one were to delete the character that RoD just made and then remake it on the main account would that be beneficially. Or would the items be deleted also - plus you wouldn't know how fast the server would update in order for you to grab the name again through D2Client on your main account.

Thoughts? If this would be beneficial I could possible create some feature like the above mentioned in RoD.

Ofc the items will be deleted as the character is re-created. What i have done to transfer good names onto a main acct is just to run one name through Rod and have my Account set into it. I load into D2, delete the name and voila the names gets created on my main account.

Im not quite sure where you are trying to go with what you are saying, maybe some further explanation? :)

What i would really like to see is the ability to search any .txt file rather then just the Realm_account file. There are always different lists i want to run but every time i have to rename one file and then the other(the old Rod could do this)

I would also really like to see the ability to swap accounts once it has it's maximum 8 names. I know you where implementing this in the next release however

Title: Re: Early Beta Release
Post by: Myst on June 05, 2010, 03:46:18 PM
Yeh I'll add support for multiple lists.

What I meant before was that I was thinking of having a feature that once RoD creates the name it auto-deletes it and then launches another connection which the user can put as their main account (w/ diff key/proxy support) and auto-creates the deleted name.  So pretty much an auto-xfer feature.

However others have suggested that this would make botting for names done for because people will never lose the name then or something of that nature.

If anyone wants to talk more or idle in my channel that I'm always in; just come to irc.darkblizz.org #darkblizz   who know's i may release updated versions from there ;)
