From the release of Starfriend and now the new English modification release. Do you think this will push Blizzard to make SC2 LAN available in retail copies? So in theory it would be less of a hassle for Blizz to issue out DMCA's all over the place for those hosting Starfriend, when they could just include LAN like they did on SC/Brood War.

I would say no because introducing Lan means that cracked clients can play.. So that means lesser people buying the game.
But who knows ?

I would agree but it is already about a year since the release and the big influx of people, who buy the game is already over so I can see an official LAN version very likely to happen.
i hope yes and so that people can play sc2 in lan for better feeling.
