It depends on what the actual developers who made Starfriend do. Them being Chinese they used the TW Client. I heard they did have plans to support the English clients, but it will be some time until they do so. But we couldn't wait, hence we created the English modification :)

It is risky for a ban if I'm playing along side with retail (on the same Windows)? I want to try this version locally with a lag-free connection with some of my friends.

I tested in single player mod the map left2die , it works but the voices are in chinese. I have 2 sc2 clients on my pc , the zhTW and enGB so i transfered the audio files from enGB to zhTW and they worked like a charm. So it might be posible to switch even the interface ones ?

great news :) Im going to take from somewhere interface filse and try it.
what do you mean by "interface"
when i said interface i meant transfering the .mpq file from a enGB to zhTW , if its even possible :-/
It is possible to do it trought update, that tool I've posted earlier has scripts that 'emulate' update procedure, and input the right stuff in right place 8), even though it still need confirm ::). I'm on it now..

From what ive heard. Not yet. Only the ladder maps because their hardcoded into the server.
