I know some guy got to the character creation screen, and someone actually got into the game for a few moments before crashing. Excellent progress! Sadly though, this has all been Windows only...anyone know of anyone doing anything like this on a Mac?

Thats because the crack or bypass isn't fully finished yet. There isn't a crack or bypass until it works %100. a patched crack means after successfully having a crack that works %100 is blocked.
I know SPHT was able to get into game. He hasn't gotten to fully work yet, which means with out game crashes or connection losses.
Edit: Take instance. The SC2 Beta. Client and Lan bypass. That works %100. Same with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Steam Bypass.

This is only for devs... It's a c++ program that let you use .proto file. Proto file are the basic files of Diablo 3.

Since I'm not familiar with compiling, cracking or anything alike, I don't know how to do that, not even what to download, edit or execute. Thank you very much! I'm pretty excited to be honest, I have been messing with the Calculator new feature at Battle.net forums (which you can find here http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian (http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian) ) and gone berserk-emotional already :D.
You choose a class, and then 6 active and 3 passive skills, and eventually upgrade the active skills with runes.
I will check this new launcher provided by the user above right now, however, are there any news about the game-itself emulator? Is there a certain time expected for it to be published and working? Even if they told us "expect it for the following month" that would be awesome info.

Thanks for the additional info, for me it's OK, i had to install both .NET 4.0 and another app related to it when I installed Magicka, then it's not a big deal :D.

Okay, I can't run "Local Server", a message keeps popping up saying that the file "C:\Documents" doesn't exist and I must make sure it exists, then the game starts, but I'm stuck at login screen.
Any help there?

For me it reports an error and says that my name/pw don't match, if I launch it offline it says that i couldnt connect to the servers.

I got the same error if i click on the shortcut (Diablo III - shortcut) ....

Since my OS is in Spanish for some random reason, I'll post the translation: Windows couldn't find the file 'C:\ Documents'. Make sure that the file's path and name are written correctly and try again. To look for a file, clic Start and then Search.
After that the game logo appears and it runs windowed. I enter a random mail and password and it says:
Error!
Unable to connect to the service
(ERROR_3003)
Now I click OK, trying again pops the same error as before.
I have been writing at the same time I did it, so I didn't miss anything during this time, and thaat's the error some people (including me) are getting.
As far as my brain reaches, I think that error is based on a failed-to-be-written path inside the EXE file, since there is no cfg or ini file I can't edit that with a notepad, can someone tell me how to edit the path where the launcher looks for the files? I will try that and report if it works.
Worked Perfectly fine for me as per following the instructions. (Windows 64-bit Ultimate). Hope we see an in game emulator soon! Keep up the awesome work!

you cant play it yet, im guessing they are 1 step befor entering world, you can go to the next page after character pick.
You must enter the add the shortcut to be created in the folder that the exe of the game of Diablo 3, not the launcher that comes with the download of emu.
He badge after some time, I tried opening two games to try to invite the other to a game but it says the character is invalid, we hope that works.
So as of right now, does this crack really do much other then let you create a character? Like is this any different then that hero crack that was released a few days ago?
Indeed, you can create a character and a Banner, it won't crash... but it will if you try to go to the following screen.

Ah, so basically, the Hero crack before only let you see the char creation screen, not actually create it. And this recent crack lets you make a character and banner, but you can't get to the next screen (which I take it is enter world?)
As far as I know, yes, but I don't think the following screen is the game itself, I think you must go through the "create a game" screen, and then to the game itself, but that's just my guess.

For what is the shortcut? Just:
1. Download and extract the rar in the diablo3 directory
2. Run D3Launcher
3. Chouse offline
4. Tipe something and @ and then password. For example: a@ and pass: b
5. Name a hero and continue to the next screen

Was excited, but I get the popup asking how to load a file, and then the same connection error when trying to get past log in. Cant get to char creation. Thats alright - I can wait for the real deal crack

With that current Version you have the Quest The Fallen Star selectet, not Missing anymore but starting the game fails with error 7.
BUT: He isnt far away from the step to enter the world :-)
tested, and works for me, able to enter the hero selection screen, after enter the hero name, and submit, can click around, have a look all the banners and stuff, pretty cool, but will get a server error message after about 45sec.
Updates until now:
-Doesn't work on Windows XP
-Gets you past the character creation screen in Windows 7.
-After 45 seconds it kicks you to the login screen, or if you try to start a game. You can repeat the process though.
Nothing new so Abaddon ;-)

I only posted it so people stop posting about that they got the 3003 error, or they get an error after some time in the char selection screen, it seems to be useless though (!¬_¬).
To everyone: Please don't post to repeat that you get an error at the log screen or the character creation, because that's expected already.
To sum up, don't even try to launch it on Windows XP, and yes, you can't create a game, nor stay more than 45 seconds in the character creation screen.
Please, it's not about what to post or not, I just go berserk-emotional when a new post comes (I think it's an update) and then it's just someone saying "Hi, nothin's up 'till now? Laters!" >:(

basically says that spht managed to log into the world but with no npcs or items yet... that was a few days ago though as you can see...
That's what I guessed, the point is: If he joined the world the week after, does it mean that we will be joining any time soon? Even if there is nothing but ourselves, just for testing on Windows XP.

because the dev team behind this refuses to consider this as a crack, they call it a "server emulator" more appropriately, so we should do the same :D
running windows 7, 64bit, ran the zombie version of the D3sharp tool, however it hangs on the retrieving
character part (I cannot login).
Any suggestions? (windows firewall is turned off).

To do:
1. Go to "build" folder & open "Mooege-VS2010" in C# then build.
2. After that go to "src\Mooege\bin\Release" and open "Mooege" application.
3. Now run the shortcut you've made from Diablo III. (please check your firewall also)

Hey guys, i followed exactly the explanation, i'm on windows 7 and when i'm trying to log in it take like 30 sec - 1 min of loading and then it pop :"The request has timed out. (Error 3006)"
Someone can tell me what goes wrong please ?
