wats wif all the fighting. Just wait for the bloody game and play then, its not that far away and blizzard never disappoints. If you cant wait for it then go and play diablo1 and 2 again and then come back and see wats up. There are plenty of other games you could be playing while waiting aswell so stop the bitching and be patient. Atleast you can get into the game and see wat it is like. If u dnt like wat they r doing then stop coming to this site.

1) Download MooExt_Stable_v9 at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6E2M4PWX

2) Run MooExt.exe

3) In the D3 Launcher tab setup the D3 game path: by clicking on "..." (to your diabloe III.exe)

4) Click on Mooege updates tab and click manual check or F5

5) Once update is done click play (local)

6) It will automatically run diablo 3 and you are in the game.

7) make up any account and enjoy

i got compiled release BossCatKenji posted, but i cant seem to get it working properly

no monsters or whatsoever only monk

Yeah i'm having the same problem.

What is the difference between the dsharp.sln file (in source) and dsharp.exe file in the release folders? The latest release files aren't working because it says "[fatal] [sever]: Bnetserver can't bind on 0.0.0.0 sever shutting down" what is all this? I know i have to have visual studio debugging dsharp.sln and dsharp.exe running but changing the dsharp.exe with new releases don't do anything for me. only when i change the dsharp.sln from different providers as in raistlinthewiz-dsharp and boyc-dsharp

you must create a shortcut of original diabloIII.exe...
(make rightclick on the diabloIII.exe and choose "create shortcut")
after this put this shortcut to your Desktop (or where u want)
now make a rightklick on the shortcut and go to properties....
to the exe target add the line -launch -auroraaddress
The final target should look like this -> "random_directory*\Diablo III beta\Diablo III.exe" -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345

now just click on apply.... and this step is finished :)
enjoy!!!

im sorry, but it didnt work!

Do i create the shortcut from the actual D3 beta client??  It never added the "random directory" to the target. Where do i find the DiabloIII.exe to begin with?  Im sorry for being such a noob!

yes you need to create the shortcut from the actual D3 beta client. Its like doing it for any other game, what is so hard with making a shortcut?? The diabloIII.exe will be in default "C:\Program files\Diablo III beta" like in any other game. It depends on where you installed it obviously. My directory looks something like this

"F:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III Beta\Diablo III.exe" -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345

EDIT: don't look for the directory "random_directory" because it doesn't exist. It is just an example whether it is C drive or D drive whereever you installed it

Hi

I need some help.  Do i use Microsoft visual c#, or do is visual studio a whole different thing, im getting a "build failed" message.  Im pretty much stuck there.

thank you for the help

Download visual studio professional the trial version. the visual studio basic won't be able to read the .sln file. I don't know about the microsoft visual c# but the visual studio professional works.
