SC2 Tools / Re: Malu05's Starcraft 2 Tool (hack)

@Shawn91210
You could just programatically hide any window you want using user32.dll
ShowWindow(IntPtr hWnd, int nCmdShow); then use  SW_HIDE = 0 for the nCmdShow in this case

@Gafda
If you're AV is flagging it, that's because it's stupid and flagging anything made by autoit

@malu05
Awesome work : )
don't listen to the haters : P

I was wondering if in you Machinima Tool tutorial videos if you had WoW running as minimized (surely)
but I was also quite interested in how you did the picture in picture, and how you did that exactly if that's something of WoW you're triggering or if it's part of Win7 or au3 or a custom dll you made or something.

@apriores (since the quote button is failing atm)
why not just use a speed hack to test AI's such as CE
or some other dedicated speed hack.
I know that would make my life a ton easier if I were an AI writer.

also shep's maphack would allow you to monitor what the AI is doing very well
not only because of the maphack but because of the score board that's incorporated.

SC2 Tools / Re: SC2 Strat Javascript

I know this idea is really farfetched surely but when you talked about making it 2 player/war like first thing that came to mind was like FF but turn based/ auto turned based would be sucky
Possibly though if you can factor in time to get to a base ideally, based on the number of bases they have... then if the opposing force had defense the attacking units that were sent at them would have to first attack the defense b4 it could attack their units and then finally builds that weren't built as defense.

You could have the building of bases be linear towards the opponent.
Also if the opponent sends attackers and you sent attackers and they were beyond the expected base area to the time then they would attack units compared to defense buildings

(Base, Units, Defense)
B-U-D---------------------D-U-BB-B--U-D-----------------D-2U-BB-B-2U-D----------------2D-2U-B

lol i know it's not to scale exactly but lol yeah...
this also makes it look like the bases dynamically expand such as the defense gets closer to the opponent when there's more units, or more bases, you could have it work that way or not

you could make it so that defense is always on the outside, or maybe the player pics where it will go
or maybe it just stays in the order you built in
you could have different modes, or just play around with them until you found something you liked
Or once again, this whole idea is farfetched, but eh who knows.
It could make for a fun game, like a mini sc2 that's 2d or if you want to go off accuracy this could be a bad idea, but then again, you might need somewhere to start b4 you can shoot for accuracy. ; )

i had a similiar idea a couple of day ago, to do a game analysis engine kinda like rybka or fritz for chess... to make infinite analysis based on time elapsed, testing out all the possible move for each race.

of course not in javascript... any language that support multithreading would be adequate.

but im lazy and i would need a huge team to determine the accurate strenght value for each unit/building and to work on a project of this size....

...

That sounds like a crazy awesome idea, but ofcourse it'd be more complicated than a game of chest and more complicated than was is posted here.  I mean you could collect alot of data from player games, or you'd pretty much have to have your own AI's with different themes they could select from.  Then you could figure out what best "theme" suits different maps : )

you should do an opening explorer like this: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/explorer
with a replay database from elite tournament.

I dont know how you like that idea, but if some people are interested in doing a project like this, just contact me, if there is a lot of people interested it might motivate me... i mean for the analysis engine and the opening explorer...  8)

That's cool, it's a bit confusing, but that's awesome : )

there should be like a timer or something for like a countdown as well as how long the game has been running ; )

Edit: okay you have to click on fast for the tickers to start

It just takes some time to get used to, but I did post on your reply system you left on the emu.

for a unit limit to be unlimited you need to find it's address and "Freeze" it, thus it never gets to being fully full.
I tried that and no result. I searched the value using cheat engine and all types available (2bytes, 4bytes, ...) and seemed that there is no address containing that data ( ??? ). The gas/mineral address was really easy to find.

yeah dare say it, I'm in the same exact boat lol
I just hate that my system only has like 2gb of ram and 50% is used by the oS and sc2 uses like 600-900 mb of ram and then like... that just screws you for CE. I wanted to start with an unknown value and then use incrementing/decrementing to try and find it, but to start with an unknown value is like... impossible, or maybe just for me since I have no ram after everything is loaded :(

Edit: looking at the addresses I pulled, they seem to be the same, just try the player2 resource modifications.
And his last thing he released with music does happen to work for the resources

ah kay that's why this didn't work for me at first, that's because this was made for the new patch and I just hadn't downloaded it yet. So yeah things work  :)
But there is the bug with the maphack with you going to spectator.
Freezer doesn't seem to work for population :(

CraniX I love the work you do, but alot of the memory stuff doesn't work out :(
Maybe there's some special offset you need to have in order to have it work across multiple machines, I know the same kinda stuff happened for me with your SC2BAIO program.

If you ever need to test across different machines or need someone to test, you can message me and we can talk and debate on it.

here's my run down so far:
Sc2baio: resources only worked when I clicked player 2 (why wasn't I ever player1 (im always player2 appearntly...))
maphack didn't work on it for me
health bars did : )

Sc2BMH: maphack doesn't work, health bars dont work this time
I know you've hooked the screen text/writing because I'm seeing your stuff there
but nothing on this program worked for me :(
But the music was nice :D

Btw, thanks for the source, though I am a man of C#, doesn't mean it's not convertible :P
but I'm a strong believer in open source : )
1 question, how do you find these things? do you use a debugger?
or something as simple as cheat engine?
prethanks to the response

sucks that they updated SC2 just recently, so now all the memory spaces should be nulled methinx :(

I was wondering if there is a working trainer for sc2, to be used against AI (miner/gas one)

I was using one but the latest patch seems to have messed it up, thank you.

For gas and mineral, I was able to use cheat engine to find the address and modify them, really easy.
Im looking for a trainer which can change the 200 unit limit into unlimited, and of course some instant build/instant research feature would be nice.

for a unit limit to be unlimited you need to find it's address and "Freeze" it, thus it never gets to being fully full.

I have wished for instants too, and lol too bad there's no cheats yet that you can't just type in lol, which is cool though that people have to try harder for something they shouldn't even be able to do in the first place anyways :P but anywho.  You could always use a speed hack which cheat engine has, but there's some out there with hot keys but it doesn't help you out much either when you're opponent will be moving faster too, Faster AI oh noes! but.... the game will definitely go much quicker.  I guess that could be a few ways to learn how well AI works, #1 would be map hacks, #2 would be speed hacks, but I guess you could always just be a spectator.

Guys if you want to blather on you should go to an "other's" forum section for OT where you can battle out your hearts desire.

Yes I know people cry about maphacks and what not, but first off, beta, second, most people are just single playerin it.
And what makes any hacker/user better than another hacker/user.

And this is simply a compilation of programs, not anything that I've created.
of course in all reality, the more popular and public something is, the easier and quicker it will be caught and banned for, or patched.

But as for my citation, I only do single player and that's what I mean for these tools to be used as, for people to learn from and understand things, or simply, it's about having a fun time and feeling good.  If you dont like it, then dont bother with it. Plus hence it being a compilation, just pick out what you do and dont want.

Edit: btw thanks for all the seeding guys :)
and I'll try for a new pack every week or so..
it just depends on how busy the scene is

SC2 Tools / StarCraft II Beta Hack Pack 3.12.2010
March 12, 2010, 03:56:41 AM
This is a pack of the most recent SC2 Beta Patch 4
Loaders, Cracks, Maps, AI, Maphack, Money Hack, & Camera Zoom Hacks

you can read up here:

or just jump to the torrent page:

Or... Just start the torrent now...

Yes I know there's been things like this, but first off this is a huge community right now, so you're going to see different redundancies (obviously seen with the amount of launchers out there)

This is the second release in the saga of the StarCraft II Beta Hack Pack

This is the real stuff right here : )

Even though I'm not at this level of programming, and I dont have too much experience with windows interfacing/kernel/debugging I truly enjoyed how you wrote a paper on it and explained the whole thought process.

Thanks : )
Nice idea too, since it's injection it just modifies memory I believe therefore it wont modify your maps, but that's what I was first afraid of, and that's the first idea that came to my mind when I read this topic's name.
