You probably didn't set the race for you or the computers and left them with 'random'. This way it works for me too but when I choose race for me or the computers in a 4 players map it crashes while loading.
My friend also try to launch this way and it didn't work for him ethier..
I just tried it.. I selected a race for each player (myself and AI). Loaded up a 4 player map, and everything worked fine.. no crashes.

I'm using the Original Blizzard maps. The ones with no AI. Also, I'm on Windows 7 x64 if that makes any difference..

Launcher is incompatible with Base14356. fix this plz usmc.

3 problems I've encountered so far:

1. Replays desync after about 1 minute (yes, I have the correct AI selected..)

2. Replays aren't showing team vision. For example, if I select Local Player vision, the launcher will not show vision of my allies. Plz fix this.

3. The Races & Colors will NOT reset to random after each game.. I have to reset them myself every game.

strangely, the replays work fine for me now.. They weren't working earlier this morning.

This launcher seems to be Extremely buggy and very sensitive to fatal errors.

Anyways.. Everything is working fine for me now, except for the Kula's Ravine map.

I would still like a feature to switch between my custom AI & the original blizzard AI, just so I can watch replays downloaded from other websites.

1. Replays vs AI do not work, which makes the "select map folder location" feature useless on this launcher. It was more useful in Valkyrie's launcher, because the replays actually worked in his launcher.

2. AI selection needs some work. I need to switch between 2 different AI's. StarCrack AI for playing, and Original Blizzard AI for watching replays of other people. (In Valkyrie's launcher, it lets you switch between 2 different AI's, which is very convenient).

Well first of all.. try reading the instructions...

You MUST use original blizzard maps with this launcher. You can NOT use "AI" maps..

1. Kula's Ravine still does not function properly in Team play.

2. The launcher still requires me to exit and restart it, to change the teams around.

3. It would be nice to have "Random" as a choice for the colors.

This is NOT how SC is supposed to be played. Teammates (AI or Human regardless), are not supposed to have shared bases..

But thanks anyway. I'll give this a try to see how it goes.

ok after messing around a bit more with this launcher, here's what I've found out:

1. Kula's Ravine map does NOT work properly on this launcher in Team Mode. All other maps work fine in 2v2 & 1v3 modes.

2. The settings of the launcher doesn't change unless I exit and restart it. So for example, if I play a 2v2 game, then afterwards I decide to play a 1v3 game, I would have to exit the launcher and restart it for it to work in 1v3 mode.

ok, it seems like this launcher permanently alters your maps, so make sure you have a backup copy of all your maps, cuz this launcher changes them..

there's also a few bugs.. the team functions don't work properly on certain maps.

Works perfectly! colors, races, replays, teams, EVERYTHING!

What I was really surprised was when my comp ally joined forces with me to attack !!

His units was ahead of me, and he saw me following behind him, so he moved his units back to combine with my army. It was amazing!

Also, if a terran building, such as a barracks is in red health and burning itself in, the AI will make no attempt to repair it, but rather goes on to build a tech lab on it, and will even start creating units / upgrading while its barracks clearly has only about 10 seconds of life left in it.

After playing AI 6.1 (standard), here's what I've seen so far:

-Zerg makes 3 expansions, but will only gather resources from 1 expansion. If you kill the main base and the expansion with gatherers, the zerg will not make anymore drones at all.. They're supposed to be saturated at every base.

-Terran has way too much minerals and gas during mid-game. At one point, it had 5k minerals, and only 150/160 psi.

-Every race are still weak. They don't have any defensive structures. Zerg never makes spine crawlers. Terran never makes bunkers. Protoss makes a few cannons, but only at their mineral field; they need to make cannons at the front of their base.

Overall, it was a bit of an improvement. But still way too easy for any experienced SC1 players.

Actually, it doesn't... it will load up SC2 but only Patch 14133. It doesn't load up the latest patch which is 14259...

Zealots have 60 shield.. that's how you know it's using patch 14133.
