What is the difference between a AI map and a normal map ?
I mean i have ai in both of them.
What is the real difference?

The difference is that in AI maps
the loadingscreen is there, and the AI is placed in the
map by default.

Normal maps have a bugged loadingscreen and the AI
is placed in the map via the launcher. (I think)

If Im wrong please correct me.

OVH are having bad issues with their servers. As you can see we have a 500 internal error on the web server, I can't do anything about it, just wait for ovh to repair servers.

Anyway, still working on star location and gui improvements and bugs fixing. Be patient 0.22 should be a kick ass release.

Sweet...
I hope you can fix the color bug.
Any ways nice work,
I'm looking forward to 0.22

How come it needs lazy launcher 2.0, doesn't it include it in its content? Plus can you watch replays with this launcher without doing anything on the fresh install of the game?
Bump!

Yes lazy launcher 2.0 is included.
Watching replays is simple.
Just press the replay button and select.

QuoteIs it possible to start game in fastest mode instead of changing it manulay each start of game ?

No not atm.
Just use the + and - buttons for now.

Because many people here had that very same problem and fixed it that way. If that doesnt work, you may want to see this, hope it helps:
http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starcraft-ii-beta-launcher/msg7850/#msg7850
And a fresh reinstall is also an option to consider if the above still doesnt work...

Yes this guide does look very useful

Enabling/Disabling Internet shouldn't fix any problems...the way it works now is, it checks if its able to connect to the server, then if the connection was established, extra features are enabled (upload/download maps, and voting and popularity)

The problem i noticed is that when its connecting to the server, the launcher completely stops responding until the operation is done. The same for uploading maps, which can take up to a minute or longer.  Even though the application says not responding, it still is uploading the file. If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this would be great.

Val is at work right now and will work on the it tonight, and I do not have the latest source.  I was actually trying to redo the launcher in Direct3D9...but i decided it wasn't necessary since val came up with the elegant interface

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fit the interface using any custom DPI?  I know the DirectX9 approach would of solved this too..

If you are having a selectedIndex error, its most likely because when its loading your configuration from the .ini file, it might be trying to select the one that was deleted (if you delete maps, AI, etc)

Sorry,
but I cant help you with the technical stuff,
but it would be nice if you could fix the bug I mentioned earlier

Nice work on the launcher btw., we really appreciate it!!  :)

Keep it fun guys... no Porn e.t.c and don't make it to hard... ppl should be able to find something on the net

You are awesome! Valkirie, if you could implement team play I'll definitely go back to using your launcher. But as it is now I use the star launcher because it's the only one with team play.

Agreed  :) . I also want some team play as well. And btw what is that star launcher you mentioned gamewiz? I mean there are so many launchers out there and i havent seen 1 named star? I wanna try that as well, thanks a lot

Its this one: http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starlauncher-v0-3-with-team-setting-colorrace-selection-slot-changing/

Valk's is better imo. (the team selection is suppost to be pretty buggy)

How is it buggy? Works great for me. The only thing is that they don't really protect each other or reinforce each other. But that's the AI, not the team settings. However it means they'll all be attacking you and not each other, which makes it twice as hard.

Thats what I mean!
Untill there is a working team AI (hopefully soon)
its not of much use.....

I just found 2 bugs!
1.
It is possible to select the same color for each player.
(this resulting in everyone being red or something. like that.)

2.
When the random color selection is applyed for multipe players
they will all get the same random color, not everyone a random color.

e.g.:

If you play a 4 player map and select the color "random" for everyone,
everyone will get one random color (everyone will be a single color like red)
And NOT everyone a different random color (like me=red, player1=blue ect.)
