Whatever the contest is, it should be one single topic. Comparing apples and oranges like the last contest doesn't work.

Yesterday I tried my shot at getting one when they posted three at one time. I managed to catch the update 3 seconds after it was posted and I put the key in about 1 second later and it was already taken. It's pretty much impossible...

The hero system will be used in UMS games (and single player I think). I think it would fit great there considering the possibilities. Ladder games will not have this so no worries.

I really like this, nice and clean. Seeing the the gray forum in there makes me wonder how much more awesome this could be if you modified that as well. Overall great job  :thumbsup: .

Well I lied in my last post and ended up making a few more last minute changes before the contest ends. I updated the location of the login button, changed the look of the navbar buttons, and made some other minor changes that nobody is going to notice but me  . Anyways, I  had a blast working on this and I wish good luck to all the rest of the competitors!

I assumed english wasn't his native language and he made a mistake when I posted. There is no reason to keep posting in this thread calling out the people who asked for a key since it will not make your e-dick any bigger.

I would imaging him making it by using existing "C" to make the smaller "c" just downsized. The "K" is made from the existing "R" but slightly modified by cutting/pasting/blending from other letters.

I have been a Starcraft fan since day one. I bought the original game within a week of it releasing and I still play it to this day. I have been so desperate for a beta key that I have applied for like 4 contests. I have put about 20 hours of work into my submission for the official DarkBlizz contest (http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc-ii-beta-key-contest/(entry-1)-tried-to-match-website's-theme/) but I'm still not too confident that I will win that one. If you could give me a beta key, it will not go to waste since I will spend 3-4 hours playing it daily.

I think this animation is great. I think it would be even better if the "tentacles" were in slow motion instead of fast paced like they are. Also if you could blend in the banner with the right portion it would make this a strong competitor.

Does the problem go away when you open without the launcher?

Just press "+" like 3 or 4 times. If you press it it too many times it wont make it super ultra speed or anything, just stop going once it reaches the fastest speed. Ladder games are played on the fastest speed possible.
