IT HAS BEGUN!

Spotted somewhere in Chinapan.. (Not racist.., just a joke over the confusion of the first image)

There is no confusion, that man and the SCV are 100% Japanese. Google "tmsuk" and wind up at their company page http://www.tmsuk.co.jp/english/index.html

While having a robot babysitter to keep watch on the kids may not sound reassuring to most parents, a department store in Japan apparently thinks otherwise.
(Credit: Engadget)
Japanese retailer Aeon Co. has recently introduced a robot in one of its Fukuoka outlets to help entertain the kids while the parents shop at the store. Measuring 4.5 feet tall and dressed in a bright yellow-and-white outfit, the babysitter bot can identify each kid through the special badge he or she wears, and even conduct simple conversations with the tykes. Designed by robot-maker Tmsuk, it comes with a projector in one eye and a camera in the other.
Aeon and Tmsuk did not announce any plans to introduce more robot babysitters in other stores, but revealed that the technology will be developed for other applications such as a shopping guide robot to help customers navigate through the store.

That man is CLEARLY Japanese (yes I can tell by looking at him)... and we all know how obsessed the Japanese are with giant robots.

Also, he's clearly holding a Power Rangers helmet, and only Nihongo speakers own these.

It looks like Chinese characters, but it's just Kanji (Japanese term for Chinese words that were taken as their own centuries ago).

I'm getting Fukuoka, Japan on Kyushu island.

I realize that you have the same problem, but I need a US account and need to get rid of an EU account, so we can't be of any help to each other.

My friend is stuck in the EU beta and I'm in the US beta, so we can't play together.

He's looking for somebody that just wants to swap login/pass info until the beta is over. NO security question info will be exchanged so if somebody tries to get shady, either party can recover their account and change password.

He just wants to trade his EU account for a US account until the beta is over. Anybody in the same boat and interested?

Update time... we were using the StarCrack/AI/cracked pack that he already downloaded and installed which is the US version of the beta. We deleted that and re-installed with the RU-EU beta and it works but he can only connect to the European realm.

So basically we tried to friend request each other and it doesn't see that we exist, but he can play separately. At least I won't be (too far) ahead of him when the game actually drops. Having said that, I still think he's going to quickly get his money back from ebay since the item wasn't as described and the auction broke ebay rules. The seller even sent the message telling my friend that it was an account and not a physical card ON EBAY! That's right, he was dumb enough to say that on ebay's in-house mail system.

Just to recap for anybody that wasn't sure, you can't play with friends that aren't geographically near you, even if you personally know them and want to add them--which sucks because some of my friends live on the other side of the country, but I understand why Blizzard doesn't want lag for a game where seconds can decide the outcome of a match.

I bought a beta on ebay and convinced my friend to do it, so he bought it from some guy from Poland that claimed to have a Polar Mount card with the beta key unused.

After the sale he emailed my friend and said he was just giving him his account, which has a working SCII beta attached to it.

Well the account works and has the beta but since the guy is from Poland, the beta says SC-II RU/EU which is from a different zone and he can download it but it won't run. Does this mean that theres no possible physical way for him to log in from the United States or are we missing something?

Even if he does get it to work, my beta is for the US so does that mean we can't even play together? This guy is in trouble if so because he claimed to sell a physical card and sold a used beta on a digital account.

That's the guy and he was selling 3 cards, but did a bait and switch. Seriously though I'm leaning towards theres no way my buddy can get this to work, but I figured I'd ask the battle.net experts here before he reported him to ebay.
