It is risky for a ban if I'm playing along side with retail (on the same Windows)? I want to try this version locally with a lag-free connection with some of my friends.

No, it's not. Like title say, he just replaced the original model with collector's one and this will be seen only by local players. On the bnet, others will "know" that you have normal thor model. If you want the collector's avatars, he should replace some avatars with collector ones and, again, they'll be only seen by you.
P.S.
Thanks HASH for this patch, I saw that it is, indeed, a nice model. I'm wondering though if this modification could be a risk for banning...

General Discussion / Re: Force color problem

You pushed the color button on the minimap. It's the 3'rd button from up to down, or you can pres Alt+F to toggle between  color type (normal or friendly/hostile).

You are green, allies are yellow and enemies are always red and this can helping a lot because you can see them more easily on minimap, especially when a zerg is using nydus worm on you.

SC2 Tools / Re: NEDD HELP PLEASE!

Use this launcher:

I think is the only one which is working with released version.

This launcher was stopped from development log time ago. Try this launcher:
http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starcrack-allin1/
It should work with released version, like title says. I didn't try it because I have retail now, but in Phase 2 it was the only available launcher.

Sorry, sorry, I don't want that... :P

@jyim89, you'll not see some scenes because sometimes you have to chose a story path.
Very nicely done! :)

General Discussion / Re: New maps question

You need to publish them from Editor (File - Publish). Sadly, you have only 5 slots, for 5 maps...

@tinchotin
I think they changed ID numbers for those items in game/editor and you need to put them back (on your maps) or  download the newest versions of other maps. I had the same issue with all old ones.

@hEndO
Set only the slots you will use on map and keep the slot 0 in its default settings (Neutral)

Thanks a bunch Myst!  ;D

For those which don't know exactly how to change the difficulty settings, I'll say it briefly:

1. Set player properties from Map - Player Properties - in the way you want to be (set Control to Player or to Computer);

2.  Modules - Triggers (F6) - right click on  Events - New Action then select Player from Module (left side)
and in the Label (right side) chose: Set Player Difficulty Level.

3. You need to create triggers for all Players (Computer slots) with the difficulty you want; example for a 4 player map (with Player 1 - User):

Set player 2 difficulty level to Insane

Set player 3 difficulty level to Insane
Set player 4 difficulty level to Insane

I played with AIs for about 2 months and then I get into b-net. After a wile, like 2 weeks, I came back to Strategy AI to try the new version. Before getting online, I won every game with Strategy or Starcrack (which is a bit easier) and after that weeks of online playing I lost on Strategy and I felt that I don't have the same speed technique like before. In online playing I was focused more on strategies than skill. With AI, when you're starting to know his weaknesses, you are working to do it faster. That is what I observe in the first online faze. After 1 month of online experience, I managed to work for speed too.
Now, I found about GreenTea's new version with a lot of generals which, I consider, is the best way to improve your skill for both AIs and online playing because you're forced to scan your opponent to see whats going on.

I uploaded it from StarCraft II Beta\Support folder. If you still have errors, better reinstall the game.
