April 26, 2010, 10:50:12 PM
Ok so i've been messing around with the data module a bit and figured out a whole bunch of cool stuff but i cannot figure out 1 thing so if anyone knows that would be awesome!

Timed units (ie: Infested Terran)   how do you disable the time limit on these units?  i cannot find the info anywhere!

April 11, 2010, 06:33:29 PM

p.s.  i may be desperate but not dumb so please dont waste my time if your gonna try to scam me.  Thanks

im gonna loose my mind people r getting keys left and right and i havent got one either that sucks if any of yall get a friend invite i woudnt mind taking it off ur hands  :bangshead: :bangshead: :bangshead: :bangshead: :bangshead: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Same boat.  Best part about it is the 70,000 fans on facebook, i can bet that more then half of them never played SC before and are getting keys...  People who opted in as soon as it was available to arent even getting keys.  Retarded IMO.  But hey, i'm happy with what the lazytown/darkblizz guys came up with and its been keeping me busy,  just want to play against some real skilled players now...guess i'll just have to wait until june

Im going to assume the answer is yes they are working on this.  Only reason i am saying this is due to the fact that on the teknogods forums, someone gave a moderator a beta key so they can get into bnet and see whats its about...  Hopefully it will help them out and speed up the process but like i said, im just guessing

Just played 2 times with the 6.0 non cheating AI.  God i must say this was the best 1 yet.  After a few minutes (2 barracks, 3 bunkers) and dishing out units, AI attacks with 10+ zealots.  fended them off and started working on siege tanks to defend, managed to get out about 15 marines, few reapers, 2 thors 3 medivacs and a few vikings.  Next thing i know im being attacked by 8 carriers!!!  had no way to fend them off here.

2nd time around i built up air defense and was expecting the carriers...when the time came, they rushed me with zealots, stalkers and immortals!  same thing could not fend them off.  AI is a lot smarter then previous and as of right now i dont see much that should be changed.  Maybe make a medium version and tone it down a little.  Seems real good and perfect so far

General Discussion / Just a quick thanks!

Hey i'm new to this community and have been following it for a good few days now.  I just wanted to thank you all for the hard work you've been putting into all of this for everyone.  SC2 is probably the 1st beta i have ever wanted to play so bad to the point where i almost paid someone on ebay for a key rofl.  But thanks to you all i dont have to.  Awesome work and keep it up.  If you accept donations i would gladly send some.  If i had any programming knowledge whatsoever i would be right there with you all working on stuff.

Once again Thanks!

PS: i better see some other thankyous posted here as well!

0.14:  Still getting error after selecting map/AI:  Everything is in the correct directories and such.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Try putting all your starcraft2 beta launcher (including "AI" folder and "map" folder) file to C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta or wherever you put your starcraft 2 files. It fixed the error for me, but I'm not 100% sure if it will work for you also. GL

Tried that, same problem,  going to use lazylaunch 2.0 for now since that works fine,  Awesome work though on the launcher!  Looks great and will be awesome when all the kinks are out
