Hello, I recieved a beta friend invite and well, I don't have any friends that play SC so I guess I will give it to someone here.

Thing is, I don't want some asshole to get it like that guy "mylifeforauir", so instead I would like for you to post a funny story, the funniest and most original story in my opinion gets the key.

Contest rules:

Any context will do, drunken party, camping trip, w/e I don't care as long as I laugh.

Only 1 story per user.

Deadline for story submission is May 15,  if there are little or no posts up to this date the giveaway will come sooner so that those who are interested don't have to wait so long.

Since Syxxpakc can't seem to understand the process of goods and trade lets simplify with a nice analogy.

Lets say I'm an auto manufacturer(Blizzard). I design and produce a car which has the main function of getting from point A to point B(Starcraft 2). Then I start trying to sell you this car by means of advertising to you incentives as to why you should get it, i.e., sun roof(SC2 Beta). Now the sun roof has nothing to do with your car, or what its function is, if I smeared shit on your sun roof and sold the car to you that way I guess you would be completely happy, since you didn't pay for the sun roof right?

Also you seem to be under the illusion that Blizzard is hidding the real Starcraft 2 and that this Beta is like a separate game. I hope you realize that the beta is the same game they are going to release, if it has problems... dun dun dun!! SO WILL THE FINISHED GAME! The beta is all the work and effort so far that Blizz has accumulated in the world of SC2.

Starting to get it? BTW your name is hilarious. Shouldn't an English wizz kid know how to spell six pack?

Second, for all the little Neanderthals who have never written a program or worked on a group project that you are going to sell to people, a little clarification. BETA means after ALPHA. Alpha is where problems like buggy patches, failed translations, and lack of support happen. If these things are happening in a Beta it means that they are bound to show up in the RC. That's Release Candidate for you.

And third, this thread is my fucking opinion, take it or leave it. Don't try to tell me that I don't have a right to complain, who the hell are you to tell me that?

I got mine 16-17 hours after I purchased the game online on the 21st. If you haven't gotten one yet its because you didn't harassed them, I think. I sent out e-mails and called them about it, an hour after I called and complained that it said "WITHIN the next 24 hours" not AFTER, I got the email.
