SC2 Tools / Re: StarCraft II Launcher
April 03, 2010, 05:33:40 AM
This is currently the launcher I have been using and it's really great. It's very simple and lightweight. If only the replays generated after each game using this launcher are made so that it can be viewable then that would really be fantastic!

SC2 Tools / Re: StarCraft II Launcher Plugin Pack
April 03, 2010, 05:26:54 AM
Really really nice plug-ins.. you guys are awesome.

Is there a chance that you guys would develop plug-ins that would display game time/apm. That would be really cool. :)

An AI that could perform multiple offensives at different fronts at the same would be really great. Cheers to the developers.

I hope that in the next release, the cheating AI would learn to build the appropriate number of production buildings to utilize its huge economic boost. The current AI only builds few of these buildings so they have like 10k minerals unused which is a waste. I always wait for them like 15 minutes into the game for them to build up before I decide to play with them. I don't know if this is an issue on the standard version since I only played with the cheating version.

AI Discussion / Re: Ai, and Attacking a Wall In
March 19, 2010, 06:04:53 PM
Currently there is no AI that intelligent enough to know whether it is best for them or not to destroy walls and such in order to make their offensive a success. And I doubt that such AI would be available soon but we can only hope. For the meantime, you could try not walling up to give them handicap and beat their   rush by micro :)

AI Discussion / Re: Strategy to beat 6.1 cheating Ai
March 19, 2010, 05:48:24 PM
Also if you managed to fend off their early rush attack, leave them alone for a bit like don't attack them the first 15 minutes so they could pretty much build up. Counter attacking right after their first rush pretty much negates the purpose of battling with the cheating ai since their build wasn't designed to make use of their insane economic advantage early on. And even then in the mid game , if you have already set up 3-5 expansions, the ai is pretty much easy to beat I think because they don't make enough production buildings to compensate for their huge economy. They have like a stock of 10k minerals unused even though all of their production buildings are running up 100% most of the time because they only make few of them.

I can beat the ai pretty much consistently now using the standard 13 pool as zerg of course. Beating the ai using unconventional tactics like massing static defenses for the sake of beating it is kinda cheap imho.
