OMG it's so damn easy to solve, you guys just don't pay attention and scream HELP! without even giving it 5 minutes of trial for yourself...

If it f*cking says that you need SQLite, then download the last version of your computer
-----------------------
Latest release: Play as barbarian, spawn random mobs (including leoric) with 1 and 3, kill them with 2 and 4.
No links... FIND THEM YOURSELVES  ****

****stands for:
-Friends, if you have been doing that until now.
-Retards, if you don't even read and come crying to get it done by other for you to profit.

Kind regards.

Is it possible that the d3sharp server causes FPS drop in game?

because the new releases with mobs and big maps cause me few spikes, i really hope at orginal game i wont have them :S

Older versions didn't have almost anything in them, just the character, some npcs and terrain. That's all. This one features like 1/3 of the things the oficial beta actually has. As releases are updated, you will need to lower the graphics to play it (this includes doodads, physics, spells, mobs, map extensions, etc.)

Hello, I'd like to take part in a development of this Beta Emulator. Is anyone able to give me some more details? Thanks anyway ;)

It is public domain, you must ask raistlinthewiz (who is the one that has the most advanced project up to now about collaborating, then he may assign you something to be fixed, and you send it to them fixed so it can be merged with the other source. I don't really know, check the D3dev website anyway, you ahve all the info needed around there.

I hope so, because you repeatedly change between images and they are the exact same thing except for the things that move, suck as the villager, the lanterns, the fog and the hp and spirit spheres lol.

Hey im getting some errors. It build good and all, i can start a game but i only spawn as a Monk no matter which class i choose, and my name does not get stored. When the game loads after i press start game i get the message
"snoPackhash mismatch between client and server. Proceed at your own risk!." and a few moments later i get the error message :"Your request has timed out (error_3006)

I have given it access through firewall etc.

After you are told to proceed at your own risk it should work, you will get errors, amongst others, for trying to chat inside the sandbox.

hi. i want to play but show me this error .how fix it ? im realy noob . help me

Follow the guide posted by me. Remember the 1st step, which is VISITING the webpages and downloading the LATEST repos, emulator files, and other stuff you might need, they tell you all of that in their webpage.

I haven't tried releases further to the first (whose functionality was the exact same as the later ones in terms of gameplay)

Ah yes, and don't forget to say please and thank you, it might sound stupid, but good manners are usually appreciated by (smart) people

If after following all the steps your game still doesn't work it might be 1 of 3 problems:
-Firewall block
-Registry error
-Junk files with wrong values

For the first one, disable your firewall, for the other 2 download C-Cleaner and use it.

You play as a monk instead of a DH.

This is for testing purposes, in order to see if there are any problems showing models, textunes, scripts or animations. Actions properly called won't work anyway.

Nobody is a pirate here, nobody hacked any content, but instead made it form the ground up trying to emulate some third party application, and as long as it's nonprofit, public source and nothing was cracked in order to take advantage of an official feature to which you aren't granted access (such as overriding the login screen and login on blizzard's private servers without authorization), nobody is doing anything wrong.

I'm have a problem, update/reinstall - not work. Help me! Thx

someone please help me!

You skipped one or more steps, or simply aren't following the instruction properly.
As I already said, you follow the steps and it works, IT HAS BEEN TESTED INDER WINDOWS XP AND 7!
If you still own Vista, well... you should have uninstalled it already by now.

Abaddon, I have Windows 7, and all be fine, before I'm installed emulation in D3 Directory.
If I have uninstalled and remove all files in D3, than official downloader D3 was not works :/

If I got it right, you "installed" the repos and the emulator in the D3 folder. That's wrong, you don't have to replace any files, and each folder MUST BE SEPARATE from the rest.
Please make sure that you downloaded the latest update and are running accordingly to the version of the emulator, also make sure that the file you compile with Visual Studio is in the Raistlinthewiz source folde, while the D3Sharp.exe you are executing belongs to the Emulator folder (which are separate from one another).

You MUST NOT delete any files inside the Diablo 3 beta folder. That is, after you install and patch, don't erase or replace anything and create a backup of your Diablo3.exe.

As far as I know, a new patch version was released, then I guess you will have to update both the source files and the emulator in order to run the sandbox. In any way, the process is the same and you execute the game in the exact same way, you can also run the Diablo 3 offline launcher provided by moosey in his package to avoid this step, which might save you problems if you aren't familiar with the computer. If your skills go beyond average though, I  recommend using the command line shortcut, because it can be edited so easily that there should be no problem.

for those experiencing crashing at char selection try the following:

Click Start and then Control Panel
Click View network status and tasks
Click Change adapter settings on the left portion of the Window.
Double-click the icon for the Internet connection you're using. Often this will be labeled "Local Area Connection" or the name of your ISP. If you have multiple connections, make sure not to click the one with the red X.
Click the Properties button.
Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
Select (highlight) Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Click Properties.
Click Use the following DNS server addresses:
In the "Preferred DNS server" field type 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 (This is Googles free DNS)
In the "Alternate DNS server" field type 8 - 8 - 4 - 4

I was having this problem, tried this and it fixed mine so give it a whirl

If that fixes the problem, then it's okay, but I wouldn't in any case manually change the values of the TCP/IP v4 protocol, specially the DNS because you might break your LAN connections, and it can seriously harm some of your programs, starting by Google related ones.

On the other hand, if you know what are you doing, it's fine. But in any case, you should undo your changes after you quit Diablo 3.

the beta that's currently available (up to the skeleton king) is not even 1% of the whole game.

I would say it's about a 5% of the game, I mean, in the end, it's 1 full act, with most quests, npcs, combat system testing, until level 13, some lore, you can actually do what you will be able to in the full release...

It pretty much sounds like it's a tasty beta :D
Quote from: Cencio on September 21, 2011, 02:08:10 AM
Beta or not is piracy. Blizzard have the rights. And this server emulator, in six months, will be almost the same.
Feel free to think what ever you want.
Guys, you should get information before posting. As Cencio said, a Beta is not piracy. Why? It's a development stage. It's the same as this: You just can't compare a pear with a truck in terms of which whose phase is closer to the 20Hz, because it doesn't even make sense.

On the other hand, this crew will NOT have rights to own a private server of D3, but since they DO NOT CLAIM MONEY (donations are not accepted), this is a public release and nonprofit, also this is an EMULATOR! The difference between EMULATOR and CRACK is:
-Emulators are programs that run in the background while you play another game and turn themselves into the host in which the program relies. Than is, in this game, the emulator represents a private server, like Blizzard's.
-Cracks are files that replace your old ones than modify and override certain security parameters, change things you aren't allowed to, etc, in order to play the game, normally in a single player mode unless the crack features multiplayer capabilities, but that's another story.

The point is that this is a nonprofit organization that creates a software to run external applications and not harm them.  Quit crying about hacks or cracks, because this is none of them.

Cheers! I successfully added some cool item to my character :)
Screenshot

That's how?

- Open "D3Shap/Core/Toons/Toon.cs" in MS Visual C# 2010
- You can find some item ID here: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/comment/20429143#Comment_20429143
- Replace ".SetGbid(0)" lines to: ".SetGbid( (int)StringHashHelper.HashString2("YOUR_ITEM_ID") )"
(such as the existing helm or mace)
- Complie and see the result :)

Now, that was a nice update, I like that.
Guys, in just a couple of days we are going to get the game to play, even if it's flawed to the sky! Keep it cool!

........................

Any updates around the server emulator/sandbox/whatever?

Hey Guys,

first big Thanks for all the work that was made in the last few Days. Keep up the good work and cant wait for update´s

but i have a little problem with the emulator.

I can only choose the Monk. When i choose the Demon Hunter i get the Monk In-game and so on.

Is there any fix out for that?

Greetings from Germany ^.^ (sry. for my bad eng.)

Go back to the outdated build and you can get the Demon Hunter! So simple...
The usefulness of either of them is the same though.
