Im hovering between 18-10 fps.

Still playable, but i'm pretty sure that i'll be the guy slowing down multiplayer games again.  :P
170 - 200 FPS but i play on a low res, with everything medium.

Holy crap man... Why do you need that much FPS? The human eye can only start to see stuttering when it gets below 40FPS, with 60FPS being the "sweetspot" for an average FPS. You could totally raise your settings a little and not see any downgrade in gameplay...
Is not because of that. 60 FPS are enough for me. I wold play everything at ULTRA if my hard-disk woldn't be damaged. It makes me lag a bit so well...i prefer performance sometimes xD.

Not enough Pylons / Re: Victory after load..

I followed this guide to setup. But I can only seem to play the "AI included maps" , the other maps with strange names (which I believe use the StarCrack AI 5.5) just give me a Victory prompt straight after loading.

The maps I am talking about are from:
Login bypass, maps, cache (use the new cache), replays : http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5376948

I put the "Maps" folder from the torrent in C:\Users\username\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps.

Anyone else see this issue on Vista 32bit? Any ideas?

Much appreciated
The normal maps are mostly for replays, so that you won't get the "TEMP" error. The AI maps have been configurated so that they already have the AI. I don't really know how to explain. Surf in the forums, you might find the info you need.

Guys, I dunno what the heck is wrong with me, but I can't for the life of me win a game against the AI 5.5 I even tried easy. I feel like the biggest noob!

Anywho, this brings me to a search of some strategy guides, as I've found almost nothing on the current Beta version. So after everyone gets it out of their system and calls me a noob, any chance you pros can share some tips? :)

Thanks guys!
I usualy use Terrans :
1. Get 9 workers
2. Supply depot (at the entrance)
3. Baracks (at the entrance)
4. Supply depot (at the entrance)
5. Make 3 workers
6. Refinery
7. Make marines?
8. Bunker

Now this is more like for the starting. I don't really have a static strategy xD

Protoss is the best one yet . Usualy when i get Terrans and Zergs they pown each others so they leave the rest to me. If i don't attack the PT before he gets mass-carriers I am pretty much screwed.

What maps are you using? i can make a cache for them so that you can watch replays.

it's not a graphics problem actually the game runs smoothly i don't like playing a game at low graphics, if that happens then i should just play SC  :'(
Maybe is just overheating? open the case and see if the vents have dust.

No one is going to barely play vs AI when the multiplayer function comes out.
Well, sometimes playing with a CPU is better and funnier than playing with a human player.

For example, rotating the T barracks so it blocks an entrance without the tech center messing things up. Is there a way to rotate a building?
Nope. Is not possible. Maybe with a mod but i higly doubt some one knows how to do something like that.

*Edit I think you have to launch the maps from that folder, but I'm not positive.
Mhh...I will it see if I can open the replays even if I don't play the maps from there. I will it choose the normal ones.

You should also include a list for people that aren't bad but they neither are extremely good. Can't find the right word now...

well I did all the steps, all works greate, when I go with Lazylauncher to watch replays i get error : Unable to open map. how to solve this?

as in installed everything played against AI, took LTv2.0 to watch replays, went to the recent folder of replays and - it loads and then I get that error.  Further more so - the menu button was then gone and I could not exit Sc2 by normal means (esc or f10), had to tab out and right click close it.
1. If you talk about replays with AI you need to do something in plus, a thing that I don't know (is something about making some folders in the cache, i will it search for that thread).
2. You can also push ALT+F4, works better.

You should update the guide with that link http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-downloads/starcraft-2-cache-files-update/ 'cause the cache files included in the first torrent are outdated.

(or maybe upload it somewhere else)
