All you people being anal need to take a joke. You all sound like dry dudes who get your panties in a twist if someone insults you in the slightest.I too believe that these guys don't deserve everyone doubting them and just being rude, but I can see the difference between someone taking the piss and someone being malicious. It was a joke and it was hilarious, end of story. I doubt the developers had a cry like the rest of you and had a laugh instead, so stop brown-nosing them and being offended by everything you see on the internet.

Oh how wrong you are. And no, I won't go into details.

QuoteThat "parody" video is disgusting, especially when the guy is going out of his way to just try and show everyone the progress they've made, speaking in a language that is not his native.
If only people showed more respect around here, the bulk of you would know far more about their progress, and this could actually be an exciting feature we are all looking forward to. But because you think you deserve the information, you won't get it.

I registered just for this reason. It's okay to have their doubts. But making a video and making fun of their accent and everything... that's pretty low. I'm really disappointed moderators haven't banned this jackass.

In general, most of the moderators here are to monitor their own threads and projects, as such they do not really monitor the random threads here. Unfortunate, but true.

You know, I've been talking with one of the team members this morning (for the last two hours), and all I'll say is they are a great bunch of guys from what I can tell. A huge part of me sincerely hopes that they won't publicly release their LAN play, as most of you arrogant idiots don't deserve it. That "parody" video is disgusting, especially when the guy is going out of his way to just try and show everyone the progress they've made, speaking in a language that is not his native.

Here's all I'm going to say about it. All of you who either a) demand proof (even though they've done so, but apparantly it's never good enough), or b) are freaking out because you think it's such a huge deal if this proves to be fake, basically need to go outside for once in your life.

IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. If they are fake, guess what? You didn't have a Bnet emulator now, and you STILL don't have one. They didn't affect you at all. Anyone getting this worked up about it... just wow.

i dont consider it proof becuase you can never see the code. you never see 2 people connected. Anything involving sc2 at all.

if they at least zoomed in on the code etc maybe id consider it , but you cant see a danm thing. Its like claiming You have a 100 dollar bill from a distance, it could be. or it could be a one. Untill you can see for yourself its not proof.

weather its real im not arguing because it has not been dis proven or anything Just ignore what people say and Move on.

Can't see the code? Maybe on Youtube, but on his actual video, you can see everything he shows you perfectly clear.

Here's the problem I have. Everyone here is making fun of them, making fun of the proof they've offered, and demanding more. I'm sorry, but they owe you people NOTHING. They didn't advertise themselves. They were not even going to say anything until they were ready to showcase the code. But their site got leaked (which is obvious), and now they have people (like most here on this thread) thinking the team owes them something.

No what WHAT PROOF they offer, SOMEONE will think it's not good enough. That's just the way it is. They could offer proof over and over and over of things they are doing and have completed, but people will always find ways of doubting them, or how they somehow took all this time is faking people out.

All the evidence points to them being real. And it disgusts me that the same people on this forum, people who are bashing them, giving them a hard time, demanding more, will come scrambling to this "code gen" team once they complete the emulator, demanding that they get to play. I'm sorry, but anyone here who is so blatantly rude to them shouldn't get access to it. Unfortunately that's not possible.

You'd think people would  be more grateful that a team, who is taking time out of their day, not getting paid, is doing this for them. And even if they are completely fake, it doesn't affect you people AT ALL. That's what I don't get. Is it such a crime to get your hopes up? So what if they turn out fake! Like I said before, you don't have an emulator now anyways. If they are fake, it won't change a thing. If they turn out fake, grow up and move on. IT DOES NOT MATTER. (this was directed more to everyone, not the person I quoted)

Ye, I forgot. usmc23 can confirm your doubts!  ;)

Update: Video will be up in about 16:00 GMT+1 when dude comes back from work. That is 16 hours from now so you don't have to calculate.

Good Night.

That should calm some people if usmc23 can confirm it. :) 8am tomorrow morning for me then... I definitely can't wait to see this!

Instead of waiting you guys could just do it yourselves : ).

Haha, ya right. Coding is like trying to speak Greek to me... I have no clue what I'd be doing.

Can some moderator please close this thread.

Uh, why? We have all been discussing the emulator and the teams working on it. There is no reason to close this thread.

Quote from: Daemonix on March 12, 2010, 04:20:52 PMYou do realize that it is only SDK? Software Developer Kit for IDA for developing plugins and modules for the main application? Download it and post a ScreenShot of it.  :D

I am part of the scene for 15 years.

Child, go back to bed and jerk off on your torrent trackers. When you are finished with that... Grow Up.

Don't stoop to the petty arguments of some of the immature people around here. If you are older and have been in this scene for 15 years, you'd know the internet is rampant with people like this. So just ignore them and move on.

Actually, I no longer care who believes and who dosen't. 1 picture is worth 1000 words that is not a scam and second is worth twice as much that they do not leech keys.

Support is always welcome and if you want to Flame -> Flame away!

*Busts out flamethrower* Burn, baby, burn!

@Stooz

I see a lot of anger in you our very young apprentice!

Just kidding, I respect your words. But if you knew anything about RCE you would look at the version of IDA. And you would know that you can buy IDA only with recommendations and if you are a respectable company. AND YOU WOULD KNOW THAT THERE IS NO PIRATED 5.6 IDA!

Relax.

Lol, I know nothing about RCE (I don't even know what it stands for), so I'll take your word for it. :)

Or you could google IDA and get the about form screen shoot.
All I get is apparently some girl named Ida and her pictures, lol.

See? What'd I tell ya... You offer proof and people still find ways to not believe it.

Edit: However, on that note, if you read our replies, we were not trying to argue with him or piss of his team. It was a civil discussion, and we never asked for anything. So I agree with you, but if you were referring to myself and sTo0z, then I think you jumped the gun a little. :)

Sorry if it sounded like that :) That's why these words are in quotes :D

No worries! I hope other people read that before they start posting crap demanding like these people owe them something...

I don't know what you guys are trying to achieve here? Let me give you two situations:
1. They are fake (which I really doubt because of the way they talk in the Updates. You can't use terms you don't understand or talk about things you don't understand and make a reasonable sentence. If they are fake you skeptics can do nothing about it. As stated before: "It's the Internet"

2. They are really working on an emulator. Then you are just going to "piss them off". Instead of being thankful and supportive you ask for proof. They will release it when they think it's ready for the public.

So I suggest you stop "fighting" for "justice" and just sit back and wait.. Time will show everything.

Daemonix can I ask you a question?
Are you going to release the source when the emu is ready or in "beta"? Or at least your research on the subject? Of course you will get all the credit for it. :)
Keep up the good work. I really appreciate the work you are doing so that some random people asking for proof can play.

I could not agree more. +1 to you, good sir. :)

Site has been active for 14 days. Nobody was giving any claims. What you saw on site was progress report for other team members + something for public. It was supposed to be "secret" until some release just because of situations like this. But site got leaked somehow.

Go look the site now. Check the Stats since the foundation. Look @ TOTAL VISITORS.

Wild Claims my ass. Nobody even knew anything about them till today. Who made any claims except they among themselves?

No argument from me. Again though, even if it's fake, it's no skin off my back. ;) So I might as well hope it's legit!

Some interesting stats they offered on their main site. The website has definitely not gotten alot of hits, which means it's obvious they are not advertising their site. That alone is enough for me to believe they aren't trying to steal keys off people. If they were, that site would have alot more hits.
