AI Discussion / Re: Question regarding LAN
February 28, 2010, 03:13:29 PM
Because LAN is not natively supported by the game, I doubt it is possible. I believe games need to be hosted on a server for them to function. If I am wrong and there are basic TCP/IP connection functions built in, please correct me.

AI Discussion / Re: Good Non-cheating AI?

Anyone know the relative difficulty or the changes of 4.0 compared to 3.0?

Pro tip. Keep copies of all original files you delete, modify or move.Keep a notepad log of all the changes you make to any and all folders.

Uninstall the beta. Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Starcraft II Beta. Delete the Starcraft II folder in your my documents.

Reinstall. Profit?

Generallyif you over write or replace any files, and try to uninstall the game, the uninstaller will not remove the overwritten files because the filesize and authentications don't match.

General Discussion / Re: SC2 LAN crack?
February 28, 2010, 03:59:19 AM
They are currently working on emulating the battle.net server which would allow multiplayer support. Starcraft II will not feature LAN play, so it may be tough to crack that at all, but you could still play 1v1 with your "LAN friend" via the emulated server once it's up.

Everyones work is greatly appreciated and I am rather amazed at how fast you guys got Single player with AI going. Kudos.

I tried hard twice, on Lost temple. 1 protoss AI actually killed the terran AI. I'll play a few more rounds and see if it repeats.

I havent noticed any significant change after testing it 2-3 times. Same build patterns, but annoying messages. Go back to the original.

AI Scripts / Re: Word is, "d0c" got AI working.

It seems like the Hardmode UI doesnt change the difficulty, and does write code on the screen when the AI changes anything. Use the default AI for now.

Can somebody give proofs that it is working? Someone reasonable (hey, RaTcHeT302 ;-))... Not that old video.

My antivirus found "Win32:JunkPoly [cryp]" in this crack, virus removable just by formatting drives...
Also my Avast relevead it as a virus but you need to disable it, if you don't trust me i will it go make a schreenshot right now.

Nothing personal, Ratchet. I am not wiling to risk. I am still confident, that first SC2 crack is best virus spreader ever...
