I definitely enjoyed myself. Its a great game and many of my friends still fork over $15 a month to play. That is really the biggest reason I stopped. Ill never forget the opening of AQ and doing all the other raids though. Mad fun.

I havent played WoW in ages. I used to be in Dogs of War on the Thunderclan server. US Realms of course. Havent played since Burning Crusade but I put in a solid 176 Days PT. lol. Waste of life.

I just reinstalled so I will probably make an appearance. Keep an eye out for Vitalsine. Ill do the same.

I seem to be having an issue with LazyLauncher2.0 now. I downloaded it right off the forum that the link directed me to. I tried replacing the file a couple times. It worked fine before, then one time I tried to open a map that I edited with MPQeditor and it started the game, went black screen as if it was about to load, and then it crashes to Desktop. I can still play them game with the other launchers though. The problem is not specific to any map in particular. LL2 just wont work. Anyone else having this problem? If there is a way for me to get an error log Ill grab it and paste it in. Let me know.

Ok man, it is fixed. Should look better, and the text will read correclty :). Not sure if you noticed but the favicon is right under the banner in my previous post. Didnt notice it loaded in to address bar.

Hey guys! Just wanted to introduce myself, as I have been spending alot of time here lately. Hopefully youll see my new banner and favicon uploaded soon  8) .

Little about myself:

I am a huge fan of Blizzard games. Started with Diablo, and progressed from there. Used to play quite a bit of StarCraft 1 so I am pumped about this beta and all the work everyone here (and at Blizzard of course) have been putting in, I cant wait for a final product! Ive done some mapmaking and model creation for other games in the past. Most noteably Myth 1 and 2 by Bungie. Ive also done a few crap SC and WC3 maps, but nothing too impressive. I have some experience coding, though have never work with an AI. I own my own record label, Vitalsine Records. We make hiphop and experimental music. I plan on doing some custom tracks for SC2 at some point. They will be bad ass as all hell. Haha. I love the songs in the game so far, but they are lacking some hard drums and depth. If anyone has any questions about me, feel free to ask. Let me know if you need my services!

Just looks like the base skin is a fleshy color with whatever team color you choose as an overlay. If you look at your pics the yellow one is more yellow up the middle of the body, and the purple one more purple. That woulda been sweet though if there were slight differences, lots of work though.

yeah i updated mine too, but is it me, or are the load times longer?? hmm ...  :(

Maybe my theory is correct and they did add something additional to the code? It couldnt have been too much though. I just played another game, and while seeing a variety of Protoss units from the AI, I still won. And they yet again expanded to every free base on a 1v1. I find myself running around looking for single Nexus' everywhere. It becomes a pain!

Every race has their own special ability at the base:

1: Zerg get a queen, which if used correctly can increase spawn rate by a ridiculous amount. In my opinion this blows reactors out of the water. Especially when you have multiple Hives. From my point of view Zerg is a horde race, just make as many units as possible as fast as possible. Lings are very cheap and when upgraded arent too bad if you have air support. With the queen you can spawn 14 lings at a time after a hatch. Multiply that by 2 or 3 and you have 30+. Then with speed increase it doesnt matter how far your bases are apart, your lings will meet fast hah. Also, this wont cost you more than 500-700 gas too fully upgrade zerglings etc.

2: Protoss get Chrono Boost, which is f*ckin great. Speed up tech and unit production. No other race has the ability to boost tech production. That is a huge boost to the Protoss. I find myself twiddeling my thumbs waiting for tech upgrades when I play as Terran. I use the crap out of this ability. With a couple warp gates, you can call in reinforcements in no time using Chrono Boost.

So, when you think about it. Every race has a special ability involving their base, and when used correctly can turn the tide of the war. Wether its gathering minerals, production speed or unit creation.



On another note. I just played my first match with the new patch. I feel like the AI was alot better, but I think its just me. If any of you coders notice some AI got implemented Id like to know, I am curious. It could just be the combination of AI scripts I am using. I have Goosie v4, IAI Protoss, IAMI Advanced Melee, and the Zerg and Terran AI scripts from the japanese guy. This combination is the best so far! If anyone is interested I will upload a copy of my files for you to try. I have a replay you could check out if youd like also.
