Vernam, the screen for the upcoming release looks just awesome!

I am really looking forward to it! These days I put great amount of efforts in my poker site project, I have almost finished it, tomorrow is its premier, so when you release the next version I would have great amount of time to dedicate myself to several days of gaming! :D

Also, if you really include the Strategy AI I would be thrilled! If you need any assistance by providing some sort of guides or documentations, testing or anything, please, do tell, I'd be happy to oblige!

All the best!

Vernam, you know I've sticked with you since the beginning and you have my admirations!  8)

I wanted to tell you that I also support adding of Strategy AI, its quite good to play, for now it's way better than Starcrack's in terms of difficulty (not by cheating). The problem is that it is a Chinese AI, its support is in Chinese (I can't say anything about it I heard about it on this site) and only thorough this forum we receive the updates. However, I think it's really good and for now - the best when it comes to strategies, micro, macro, etc.

Okay, guys, I haven't been able to write anything to my beloved forum because I've been doing great amount of work on my latest project - a poker rake back site.

So, finally, today came the official beta release of the site. It's called hand4hand and you can find it on this address:

http://hand4hand.net/

It's a mixture of joomla, components and plug-ins, and scripts which I've written where none fit my needs.

I would be happy if anyone gives me his (or hers) opinion and, if he wills, even test the site. Any recommendations are appreciated, ideas, criticism and whatever you wish to say.

Can I ask if somebody that has access to the Chinese web site and can download strategy AI as Base.sc2data file to upload it here? I would be very grateful!
The thing is that I want just to test it with AllIn1 Tool without replacing files, just to pick it from there. Thanks in advance!

I cannot find a single launcher that fits all of my requirements. I keep having to switch between two.
I want:

1. All races and colors
2. Works with teams
3. Handles replays well
4. Map preview
5. Loads multiple AI's. (Easy, Medium, Hard, etc). So I don't have to switch out files.
I do not care what it looks like.

NO launcher does all this. A couple look like they have team functionality but it never works.

I am just curious, which of this is not supported in the ALLin1 launcher?

Dude! You won me! My blizzard fan side was thrilled! When I first read about what was entry 2 going to be like, I'd imagined it exactly like your vid! I am so pleased that things worked out for you, great job on the video and big bow to the HUGE collection that you posses! Damn, you deserved this key more than me! :D Really, really great competition DarkBlizz is running, the community shows itself, its creativity, ideas and it gets very interesting. Big thumbs up to you and the forum!  8)

I love that you sat and made it even better! Animated version is cool but now since you have a static header that goes with the theme, I think it's awesome! It gives enough space for the header to breathe, it's unique, definitely a place holder! Wish you luck, you and one other guy are my top favorites and I hope I can compete with you!  8)

I can't wait for them to release a version with all libs replaced by a Base.SC2Data file so I could easily implement it with Vernam7's launcher and try it out. If it is more stable in the next version, definitely this would be the greatest AI! I did expect exactly those funny moments with Starcrack's AI - good mixture of units, better harassment, more worker killing strategies involving flying units etc... But I am deeply thankful to Starcrack's team so far for bringing joy to us all playing versus a computer.

@Organized_Chaos
I prefer it the way it is now. Much easier.

Diablo 2 / Re: Diablo II Ladder Reset Announced!!
March 23, 2010, 01:56:10 PM
I bet the first week anyone who find ber/jah could sell them for 40-50k forum gold. In the end of November last year for 200 forum gold you could dress up a pretty nice hammerdin or whatever here you like (of course, no perfect items) but still full dress-up.

Good job indeed! I liked the Lich King and I can't decide which is better but I like it now as well. My advice is to follow your vision, don't change it because one or two users see Diablo as a zerg or Arthas as a protoss, change it in a way you feel it most.

Although I prefer more space at the top of the page (I like the header to 'breathe'), you are one of my personal favorites! I enjoy rough competition, I have an entry which I thought would be a killer, but I am truly amazed because so far I've seen so many good banners/headers/logos and I am sure many of them would make the site look awesome.

Greets to you and wish you luck! Really good job!  8)

Vernam's launcher is def the best one right now, IMHO.  It now includes teams, and doesn't have unnecessary "fluff" that Valkirie's has, like ladder... it's completely useless because everyone plays different level AIs.  So it pretty much just ranks you on how many games you've played.  Pointless.

Also, the layout is a lot better.  It doesn't take up the whole damn screen - instead, it's nice and small, and there are appropriate tabs for AI, maps, and replays.

GJ Vernam!!  :thumbsup:

I definitely agree with Organized_Chaos, I have stayed with Vernam's launcher since the beginning when there were none, one of the first after lazy launch released their crack and it has been evolving to turn out to be the easiest, most intuitive to use and implement!
+ No map modifying, works with the original maps;
+ Teams;
+ Color, Position, Race selection;
+ Replays;
+ Intuitive GUI which I really enjoy;
+ Regular updates! You just click the Update button and it updates all by itself without side effects;
+ Comes with Starcrack's 6.1.1 AI, the Starcrack team have my personal admiration and I would love to see what will come up with their 7.0 release;
+ Of course, if you don't like that AI you have the option to change it anytime.
+ Rename, delete, add map/replay/AI files, etc...

Last but not least, it works smoothly on XP, 7, Vista and after the last fix it is the most stable launcher!

This,of course, is my personal opinion and it turned out to be a free commercial but I am just a happy user who wants to share his experience.  8)

 I also read that I should set the same IA  I've played the game, and I did, but I get the same error.

That means I have read the ORANGE text. And I get the same error. Another sugestion?

If the problem is with desync only, I don't know if you have tried this:

I think you should try this on a fresh install -

Download zipped Cache folder (try from this post I found in the forum - http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/not-enough-pylons/complete-guide-installation-ai-maps-cache-replays(including-your-own-vs-ai)/msg10693/#msg10693) and put them into:

Windows 7/Vista:
"C:\Users\<Your Name>\Appdata\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\"

Windows XP:
"C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\"

Note! Only the Cache files! Do not copy any maps.

I have tested the launcher in Win 7 32 bit, Win 7 64 bit and it works excellent. If you have a second computer with another OS try it just to see if the prob is within your system.

I am not sure if this Error has anything at all with the Cache files but you can give it a try, after all if you have done a fresh reinstall on both launcher, game and old registries, I can't think of any other alternatives for now.

Vernam7, first I want to thank You for Your hard work. The launcher is great.About the teams, it doesn`t work for me either, just as stzeetzerx. I get some kind of errors about parameters out of bounds. Can`t really read the error because the fade out time is like 2 seconds and the AI level is showing in front of that error.

Yes, I used original maps. I also reinstalled SCII and the I tried again with Your launcher - same error.

Maybe the old files in AllUsers are messing with the newest version? Any ideas?
