no, he is saying that its just as easy to just our files that you replace than guess what you are pressing on that one. 1 of the guys on the IRC channel tried it just by guessing and he got his client corrupt so he had to reinstall

i would never edit your stuff out just like that, thats the reason i added additional credit at the bottom of the login screen so it would compensate for me changing the login ID. maybe you guys should add to the website that it gives english news when people connect with IPs outside china and taiwan?

yeah i heard some people got errors installing but me and others on sc2c didnt have any issue. i would recommend to just change the install location and if you get error than people should try your way

i dont see why people have to do everything backwards, just change the location you want to install the game by clicking the top right button when it ask you where you want it.

yes you can have both installed, personally i installed them in the same  directory but added TW behind (Starcraft II TW) and those warnings you are getting is just saying starcraft 2 already exist and it will delete the blizzard stuff in the programdata folder. these are just cache files anyway so it dont really matter if that gets removed.

yeah, we have never got this error so you must have done something before trying to patch.
it is possible that you extracted StarFriend before patching, if you did that you have to do like AnonymousUser said "reinstall StarCraft 2"

sadly this does not look possible atm, we believe that the maps that you can currently use are hardcoded into the server but we might be wrong.
