Is it bad or bad in the long run if you lets say join a friends game where he's much farther than you are, thus leveling your character much faster.  And then you go back to your original act later? But now you're at a much high level that its easier to beat?

Well D3 has launched worldwide and someone of have probably been up all night playing

What are your thoughts so far about the game?  likes/dislikes etc. 

I must say it is pretty good, although the chat/social system is horrid.  I've noticed when it very populated channels when entering /who the client crashes.  Also you can't join private channels yet which is annoying. 

Gameplay is pretty good, I wish they had more camera views other than (z)oom, unless they do and I just don't know.

Locate D3Prefs.txt in Diablo 3 folder in Documents and change the following values to 7 as shown below.
Then open client and click on Cinematic and it will have all the cinematics available.

Change the values to 7

The folder in question is your main game data folder. If you have the game downloaded to D:\Games\Diablo-III-8370-enGB-Installer, please point the download to D:\Games\. Do not use the automatically generated folder containing the installation files (i.e. do not use the directory D:\Games\Diablo-III-8370-enGB-Installer as this is the one created by the downloader).
3. If you chose the correct directory only around 65MB will need to be downloaded to fix your install, otherwise you'll re-download the entire ~7.6GB

I have written a working D3 Gateway that can be run locally or on a remote server (tested on both). The game client talks to it rather than the real D3 server. It acts like a proxy, except that the Gateway authenticates itself against the real server using its own SRP6-a session (the Gateway intercepts the Auth packets and injects its own data). There is a TLS session between game client and Gateway, and another between Gateway and real server. This allows the Gateway to have unencrypted packets which it then logs as protobuffers.

Should be undetectable as well since you can run it on a remote machine. I wrote it since using "protowatch" (DLL injection into game client) will likely be detectable by the Warden.

This is not a program I will share with the general public, but I am looking for folks that plan on reverse-engineering the client Warden code once the game goes live. If you are such a person and you can debug Assembler code (required), then email me on my website email. Don't PM or reply here.
