[Tutorial] Re-Skinning SC2 Units

its seem that if you chnage anythig other than the color without changing the other files it wont work and you will get the above error, spheres

Anyone think there would be a way to reskin a lot of the units to their original starcraft/broodwar skins so it could run on lower spec computers smoother?  when i play it starts to lag when a certain amount of units get built :P

SC1 used sprites.

SC2 uses 3D models.

Not possible.

Most likely you do not need to pack the textures back to MPQ. SC2 loads local files aswell, just place them in your installation folder, in the correct path( like C:\Programs\SC2\Assets\Units\Terrran\Marine\Marine.m3), works well to: http://imagr.eu/up/4b85409a84f76_Screenshot000.Jpg
