I've used mIRC before, but it's been a while... I can't seem to get to "irc.darkblizz.org".  I'd enter that as the server, right?  It just keeps dumping me on a random IRC server.

oops, mirc is not a freeware

mirc is free, it just has that annoying registration thing which you don't have to do.  But it is free. 
irc.darkblizz.org redirects to the server hosting the irc , i.e tehnet.  Just /join #DarkBlizz when you get there

It's been attempted, but when I get on any server, the channel #DarkBlizz is always empty and I'm an op.
