once u download extract into directory and launch starcraft 2 and it should try to update and finally work without the infinite loop

The problem is, that there is already a new patch - patch 10, which is not on the download page. When i extract patch 9 and run starcraft 2, it tries to update to 10 and give some error.

Here it is: The patch "base\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\Base.SC2Data\TriggerLibs\MeleeAI.galaxy" could not be applied. (Invalid source file size: expected 49197, actual 54864.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. the best way to update your starcraft 2 beta is to remove all un-legit files from sc2 directory, run the beta .exe and it auto updates itself, or at least it does for me.
that way you don't expose yourself to nasty virus's 8)

Note: Make a folder named Update if its not there in your SC2 Beta directory, then extract all the patch 9 files within it. You don't need to download patch 10 directly because the files are small enough to let Blizzard Updater updates by its own. Patch 9 is about 500mb+ and it would be better to download it directly and not rely on the torrent downloader provided by Blizzard  :D . After extraction, just run SC2.exe and let it update to the latest patch.

Enjoy  .

P.S. You'll need to restore the original Base.SC2Date in Liberty.SC2Mod folder to let it install correctly.

I don't think he saying them files has viruses, If ur using a 3rd party ai. YOU HAVE TO HAVE 100% BLIZZARD FILES TO UPDATE STARCRAFT II. =D that is what he saying k?

That means you got to have  the normal ai file from blizzard in the folder when you update. Why? because it changing setting in that file too =D
