Blizzard says 'beware' to piracy

"The office of the company (a.k.a. Blizzard) said for the prestigious game site Gamasutra that they will not tolerate piracy. "We are not afraid to start legal action against anyone who violates the rules," said the statement.

Earlier this month, Blizzard sued a group of six hackers who were accused of cracking the beta for StarCraft 2 and playing it on illegal game servers. Young people united under the name of StarCrack developed a Battle.net emulator, through which they were able to play. A little later, the company dropped the case, saying that the matter was resolved in a manner acceptable to them.

So they have made Emu... and because their own stupidity of not sharing, it is now lost.

But how, by not sharing, did it get found out? I imagine, they did share it and it was promptly destroyed!

The emulator never worked.  It will however be released someday.  Emulating a server is NOT illegal.

With that logic please explain why there is no FF11 emulated servers :(.
