Server Emulation Support Thread. (Newbs post here)

I downloaded and complied the latest D3Sharp source but the game says: "The game assets between the client and the server don't match".
My game is up to date. I think the emulator version is outdated for the game.
Anyone knows which file contains the game version number?

I also see a fatal error in red text on the D3 sharp server command line box (but it doesn't prevent game launch or login).

Let't try the universal fix for Windows Vista, uninstall... xD

That's because you're launching with the wrong program. Start D3Sharp first, then D3Launcher. Click Launch Offline.

There is no such thing, because if I got it correctly, those folders are the ones I personally used to build the sandbox and has worked for almost everyone that as following us, including 2 friends of mine.

i have the same problem as Blintux when using lates source (0.4280.24662).
Everything works fine when using old version 0.4279.43095

I don't see the problem, clic on Start game and see if you join, it doesn't matter if you are a barbarian, you will be a DH.

I mean, you reached the character creation screen... just proceed to the following screens.

Make sure the D3sharp.exe file you opened is the one inside the sandbox, not the one inside the raistlinthewiz's folder.

I think the problems most of you are having is due to the lack of reading. Please go to the guide and read it over properly. There is also an attachment download with all of the latest files you will need to run the Server Emulation.

You don't need to downgrade the client version.

So Moosey tell me, is server version 0.4280.27337 or newer works for you with client 3.0.7.3.3.8 ?
